Hertz Malaysia Rental Counter | Kota Kinabalu International Airport

Rented a car for the holiday recently during the harvest festival. Counter staff is friendly and helpful, the whole process of getting the car is very smooth.
Prebooked a Persona but was upgraded to a City. Car is 4 years old but looks like it just rolled out of the showroom. Its very clean and well maintained (tyres are new with sufficient pressure, car is very clean, etc).
Would recommend renting from them.

These girls and guys are unbelievable!! Super nice and helpful. The car locked itself with the keys inside at a river rafting center about 90 minutes from the airport. Sham from Hertz and his crew came all the way at night to rescue my family and didn't charge anything. Amy and Joanne also very nice and helpful. GO HERTZ KK!! Thank you

It was the best car rental experience. They provided the car where I asked for and tailored the drop off destination, the car was brand new, the staff was extremely helpful and responsive. Overall amazing! (Note: I suggest to rent Ford Ranger as the roads in Sabah could be bumpy)

Great service when collecting the car including clear and concised instructions.
Car is very new with very little mileage.
Free upgrade is really a bonus. The bigger 4WD made our day-trip journey up and down Kudasang a breeze!

The best car rental ever. I made a reservation online (actually not me, I only say that I want a car and everything they did for me!), they gave me advise what is the best option and I was very glad of this choice. We rent a car for a week, started from Sandakan then Semporna and finish in Kota Kinabalu, so we spent a lot of time in car and It was a comfortable trip.
They gave my dad birthday present! 🙈 is was very nice from Your side!
Furthermore we had I funny story, my dad left his mobile phone in the car and forgot about it during giving back the car, all of my family was at the gate and our plane was starting in 25 minutes, I call to them said what is the problem, they immediately went to that car, I back to their office and reclaimed the phone (thank You so much again 🙏🏻).

Like this Hertz just because of their friendly staffs.
If you are going to rent a car from this company, remember to visit Sime Darby website, rather then Hertz website. As the price from Sime Darby is much cheaper than Hertz, and they actually the same company and rent out those same cars.
Car here just average, it's not new and already used for 81456 km, but well maintained.
Staffs are friendly, when I return the car, and forget the unmount my mobile stand, staff here rush to the departure hall and looking for us to return. Although the stand not really expensive, but this show the staffs provide excellent service, and sincere to their customers

I got free upgrade though I booked Proton Saga(honestly i wanted to drive the Malaysian car here in Malayaia).
Anyways, car is well maintained.

Hertz and Trift car rental available. Both owned by Sime Darby. Booth nearby escalator at the end of left side on arrival floor.

You only need to register once.. they remember you forever🤣
