A great place to spend your time, reading and browsing the books. And also to escape Singapore’s hot weather.
The range of the reading material was wide. Borrowing and returning books were easy, self help service available.
I was impressed by the return book machine, just placed the books into the machine, ensure the “returned” sign appeared and that was it. The machine was able to move to another location, after it had detected its capacity to be full, so interested.
Strongly recommended to drop by.

The Tampines Hub Library is an amazing location to read, learn, relax and read again. It's packed with who lot of goodies for everyone. 5 levels of dedicated areas for kids, children, teens, young adult, adult and seniors. Other than book which what any other library provides is has audio section, video lessons, movies, cooking lessons, kids playground, study area, computer area, venue for events. The list goes on and on. It's a massive upgrade from the pervious library. The rich design and colour do set the mood for each level you are at. It's a must to check this place out!!!!

The most complete books collection from the library I ever visited. Each section to be each floor. Third floor for kids and it has indoor playground for kids to play as well.

What an amazing library in the heartlands! As its name being a regional library its size is much bigger than most library in Singapore. This library spans 5 floors, has quite a number of sofas, table and chairs to study, a few culinary studio for cooking classes. A pixel lab for learning of coding and other IT skills. Some of the sofas have a wonderful view of the artifical turf pitch at OTH, others having view of the surrounding roads and buildings. This library also has 2 terrace seating areas located at 2 different floors. This library also has robotic moving bookdrop that vistors might encounter in the library. There is also a play area for children to have fun.

Also I was greeted by a staff that is of special needs at the entrance for safe entry. The other staff seem to be patient in guiding and encouraging her. Big thumbs up for inclusive hiring and work enviroment. We need more of this in society to make sure no one gets left behind in society.

Overall I was impressed by the design, planning and enviroment of the Tampines Regional Library. Hope to see more new libraries and upgrade current libraries to keep it relavant in our ever changing country as libraries will always have a major place in our society as a place to learn, relax and grow.

Singapore has many National libraries,, 23 or 24 I guess. The tampines library is located in the eastern side of Singapore and I was told that the Tampines belong to the Malays’ mostly. Though I didn’t time to see the culture. Library visit was so informative. They three different language corners in each floor. And the Singaporean author corners was so cozy. It was absolute to visit the library . One cool thing that I got to see was the book collector AI. And we got an actual demonstration. 😃

Fantastic collection of books, DVDs and other educational materials. It is certainly pleasing to the eye aesthetically with its modern look and spaciousness. Though u have to walk quite the distance to drop your books off.

In addition, there are great sceneries due to the glass panels that allows you to see the main road and the stadium in the hub.

Last but not least, there are many private corners where u can read in peace. Loved such intimacy 😂

One of our favourite hang out places, since it was along Ave 7. But with the move to Our Tampines Hub OTH, this became one of the best places to go to.

A library full of books (expected🤭🤭) and sweet lounging chairs and with super cool interior. Oh yes, did we mention the indoor playground? Lets dive in!

Location:
This is located near the entrance of Lobby F, basically the east side of OTH. This is facing the starbucks and there is an escalator that serves the library directly to the front door. Funny that it had to start from level 2 BUT that is the cool point. With its location at level 2,it helps to reduce crowding at level 1 for it to be more exclusive!

The library is stretched all the way to the back, til the junction of ave 4 and 5. Super long and tall and differentiated to various segments. We shall not dwell into much details but u need to check the size of this.

Ambience:
The feel.. omg.. the feel is really insta-worthy for many different locations within the library. The only thing short, is a cafe🤭🤭. We really do feel as though we were in a different world.. superb deco n interiors! We wana share more but since its the experience that counts, we shall stop hereeeee 😂.

Overview:
The best place to escape heat, the take a chill pill and even to take ur mind of work.. unlike other libraries, we really recommend this as one of the top 3 libraries in Singapore to go! So what are u waiting for?

I've heard some amazing things about the new Tampines Library and my recent visit to it did not disappoint. There's a huge array of books and categories. Great collection too and many new titles are available as well. I love how open and bright it is and the many reading nooks available. There's something for everyone here.

No librarians were visible, so I knocked on the staff door and received a warm welcome from a petite Chinese lady. She guided me to another room, helped with a form, passed it to her colleague, then headed back to the staff room, leaving me with her signature smile before departing. Grateful for her assistance and kind demeanor. Thanks NLB for the free book and card for my newborn.

Located at one tampines hub level 2. Can be access from outside, take escalator up. Or from inside one tampines hub level 2. Good measurement during pandemic. Alot of book collection we can choose and read on. Favorite place for children and those who like quiet reading. We use NLB Mobile app to scan book barcode to borrow on the spot. There is return book robot station near library entrace for us to drop-off the return book. Highly recommended!

The best library besides National Library!!! 4 floors, big area, cool decoration, lots of studying space with power sockets!

A 5-storeys library with a huge variety of books. It has a different theme for each level. It has its own toilets, wifi coverages, charging station, a lot of seating and writing places. It has a children playground, a kitchen for culinary class and several rooms for audio visual and learning activities.
A very popular place for study and one of the biggest regional library in Singapore. It also has a robotic bookdrop that will go to the main book collection point when it is already full.

Kids section is huge with large variety of books and have good sitting around the area for kids to enjoy reading

Exciting location for book worms! The first regional library in Singapore is now relocated to Our Tampines Hub since re-opened on 5 August 2017. Noted with largest collection of materials on overseas Chinese with cooperation from National Libraries of Beijing and Shanghai. Improved facilities includes children's Playhouse in addition to the IT Business books microfilm conference and exhibition services. Conveniently located in the neighbourhood heartland next to several major shopping centres MRT station and bus interchange with plenty of dinning shopping banking supermarkets postage community centre cinemas entertainment and amenities nearby. Friendly cosy comfy welcoming ambience for romantic intimates groups students tourists expats locals visitors and families.

The best library in Singapore. The interiors are well designed to suit the different readers. One is ergonomically design for the children, everything looks extra cute, low, small and colorful. Another space with cage like steel mesh and darker in color. There are a variety of reading spaces for many readers. One can spend the whole day here resting and reading. Yes, there are many magazine in other language, tamil, chinese and perhaps bahasa and Japanese. From here one can have a view of the football field too. A viewing grand stand of sort, in cool sunny light but chill temperature.

Newest library in Singapore currently.

Huge library with 5 floors of books. The 5 floors each have an area of specialization, for example, the fourth floor is dedicated to teens and kids, while the fifth floor is for adults nonfiction.

If you use the NLB OneSearch portal, scattered around the library, you can find the books that you want easily. They have an easy classification system which tells you which level and which shelf to go to to find your book. I don't know if this system has been pushed out to other public libraries.

Compared to other libraries, this library is very quiet(try going to the Sengkang one) which was what we liked. Tampines Regional Library most closely resembled the libraries we went to in other countries, large and with a good selection of books.

Good job and well done, NLB. We'll be back again.

Have been going here since 2019. Best mall+library in the world. Especially because it's so close to the trio of malls in Tampines.
