Had a great time here!There are different types of animals and the animals looked well fed.When we visited,the nocturnal animals were hiding and sleeping so the zoo keepers woke up these animals by giving them snacks i.e live feeding.I commend the zoo for such effort. You can also feed some animals like elephants,goats,horses and guinea pigs for rm5/bowl. We enjoyed the elephants feedind the most!
There are also horse rides and petting zoo.You can ride the tram at rm6/adult or rent a buggy for rm50 to look at the animals.If you choose to walk,please bring along your hat/umbrella and sunglasses. The toilets are surprisingly very clean!

We took the the buggy ride,driver was very accommodating, stopped at most of the animal we could get down to take pictures.
Was better than the KL Zoo.
Highly recommended.

Excellent zoo with very rare animal species only seen at this zoo, including the white peacock and Eurasian Lynx. The white tiger and black panther are other superb exhibits not to be missed! Highly recommended.

Maintaining Animal as hygiene and Friendly is not easy, Worth of Rm45 ticket. KLOOK is Rm42, is better to buy online to avoid Que and crowds

My son really enjoy the journey here. All the info are easy to access. We hope all staffs are good and all the animals were well feed.

If you have problem with your legs i dont suggest you to come because its a veryy long walk to look at all the animals 🤣 also there are horses that you can ride, elephants that you can feed , guinea pigs and rabbits that you can feed too , but you need to pay,, ro ride horses each person needs to pay 10 ringgit for one round and for feeding pets it all cost 5 ringgit. The food there are delicious aswell

A huge zoo where one can spend a full day at. There is plenty of parking onsite, and one can buy tickets at the entrance. Expect a queue for tickets.

Inside the zoo, you can observe animals and birds, and for some animals you can get close to them and feed them.

There is a lake with beautiful view. There is a section that includes dinosaurs that move, but this has a separate entrance ticket. There is also a 3D studio that has a separate ticket, too.

There are seats and tables for dining. The place has several kiosks for buying snacks and drinks. Restrooms are available, too. The place can get crowded.

My family and I came quite early so we don't have to wait too long in the line. Price is affordable and worth it. We love the environment and the variety of animals in there. They also include a visit to the dino section in our tickets. Luckily we brought some hand fans and hats. It sure was a tiring day but was worth every penny. Totally will repeat our visit next year. Just a reminder, do not believe the vendor outside the zoo coz outside foods are not allowed. Luckily we didn't buy much. The food need to be finished before going in.

Alot fun and enjoy the day

It's a fun place for kids, can interact with animals, can play and feed the bunnies, birds and few other animals. Animal show. The dinosaur park is awesome. They also have extreme activities like flying fox etc. It' a huge place, if don't feel like walking all the way, can ride the tram or the buggy.

Amazing zoo! So fun! Dino land is great. Staff is friendly animals are mostly healthy (your ferret got skin infection no more hair ya)

Have so many types of animals and the animal park is very big as it will take around 3-4 hours to look around the places.

Dinosaur park also looks very realistic and amazing.

We paid for the entry fees, however we was also charged seperately for the photos, feeding the animals and also to have a closer looks for certain animals. (Reptiles, guinea pig ans etc)

Other than that, it was fun and good experience.

We came the last week of school holiday. It was nice to see that the crowd is not that heavy.

This is not my first visit but the last one was many years ago. There are new items added to the zoo like the dinosaur area. Luckily it is already inclusive in the entrance fee.

It takes a bit of time to cover everything on foot. Easily about two to three hours of you really look at everything. Don’t miss the animal show. It was very interesting and choreographed in such a way that makes it interesting.

No food is allowed but ample kiosk and cafe inside the zoo compound. They even sell ice cream, cendol and other sweet dessert for you to enjoy.

There is flying fox that you can experience. Not that long but good enough to have a feel.

Recommended for family outing.

We explored Zoo Melaka on weekdays, and it was not crowded as we expected. We enjoyed ourselves maximum with the kids. Kids did horse riding, flying monkeys, and lastly, feeding the bird. It's an excellent experience for them to provide the parrots and peacocks.

It is a fun place and has a variety of animals. Unfortunately, we visited in the afternoon and most of them were sleepy. They also look so thin and maybe they did not have enough food. So let's visit zoo melaka so that our fee can be used to buy food for animals there 😄 please bring a cap and water so that you will not exhausted during walking around the zoo because it is quite big

20/2/2024 Melaka Free Tourism Day, so I chose the zoo as a destination to relax my mind. The Melaka Zoo is nice, the area is wide and the animals here are all just friendly 🤗😁Thank you Melaka for the free visit today.

Good job with their bird's show. What an experience. The entry prices have increased a bit. But the zoo was poorly maintained. Can be improved.

Been here twice after almost 2yrs opening of the Dinosaurs Encounter. The kids love them dinos. Other best things are the bird shows! We look fwd to the show and actually went twice at 1030am and 230pm (friday timing). So many things upgraded such as the reptile cave and bird feeding (fee per entrance). The thing is their payment method in cash only which i would wish they’ll offer cashless. Anddd last but not least- their food place are everywhere n they offer cashless payment too! You may also opt for tram ride or buggy ride around the zoo which we did! Mr Siva our buggy driver so nice to introduced us the name of each animals & it pleasant and convenient ride!
