关圣庙历史最为悠久，在1941年战前便已存在。关圣庙当时是坐落于文律巴力沙央的宾眼河畔，该庙石碑也记载该庙原名为“东山庙”，早年由陈秀龄从福建东山中国南渡来马时，将随身携带的关圣帝君供奉在庙里。

该庙后来因为政府在推行柔佛西部水利工程计划而被谕令搬迁，并在1990年发生一场“搬迁与保庙风波”。该庙理事会为了平息风波，特别召开坡众大会，解释事件的来龙去脉，大会经过一番争论不了了之，古庙搬迁也成了定局。

州政府批准该庙搬迁至市区一家板厂旁，一段半英亩的土地。该庙在1990年4月进行搬迁，在德士车站旁建设一座临时庙宇，新庙在1992年7月竣工。
