If you wanna have a peaceful weekend stay in a very reasonable price, this place is highly recommended. The staffs are friendly, rooms are decent, with a pool and also breakfast provided. Those noice freaks, party people this place not recommended.

Had a great stay here and Chen was super helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and cozy with everything that we needed. Love the books in the room! Famous Five definitely brought me back to my childhood. Loads of nature sounds around that'll give you a break from all the city honking in traffic. Will be back!

A forest vibe in town! The ideal location between nature and modern facilities. Had a fabulous time at the waterfall nearby (15 mins drive) and Sarang provides a clean cosy room to come back to with a calm environment. The pool is clean and the staff is competent & friendly. Hot and cold drinks facilities available 24/7 and they also provide an outdoor cooking facilities! Will definitely be back. Thanks Jules, Chen, Dino, Ana & Aina! Everything was superb!

Would say that I seldom leave review for places that I stayed but Sarang by the brook definitely deserves one! Rooms are clean and cozy, our room faced the forest which makes it even better. Pools are cleaned everyday without fail. Staffs are polite and helpful, not to mention owner Mr Chen is extremely helpful and friendly. He introduced us to places that we can explore and also care for us whole heartedly by giving safety advices when we head for water rafting. Oh and he actually went high and low for toothbrush for us (of course FOC 🤣)

Location wise is convenient as long as you have a car and it’s really a nice and affordable place for short retreat. Full of wonderful memories for both me and my cousin, we had a great stay thanks to all 😊

Sarang By The Brook is a very nice place to stay if you want to escape from the bustling city.The room and bathroom are clean and the facilities are simple but adequate to make your stay enjoyable and memorable.

The place is surrounded by lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere. The staff, Aina, Liana, Dino & Ana were friendly and welcoming.

If you need to arrange outdoor activities like white water rafting, night jungle experience, hiking etc, the owner (Mr Chen) will be happy to assist you (prior arrangement required).

Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and I look forward to visit the place again.

Sarang by the Brook is aptly named.. the cluster of bright turquoise cabins memang macam cozy sarang, clustrred gere & there framing the salt-water pool, and the lively brook is just beside the property.
Cabin is very neat, tidy and minimally decorated.. we booked for 3 person, hence a cute sofa bed with extra pillow & comforter. Aircond and fans are superb when you switched on throughout the night, bathroom has water heater & very clean. Nasi lemak for breakfast and make-your-own tea concept is very easy and hassle-free.
Will definitely come again for family retreat.

It was a great experience, extremely affordable which we booked the whole area for ourselves. The fully equipped kitchen makes it convenient for us to have our meals. Really appreciate the staffs who were on duty very helpful and friendly. Mr Chen was extremely kind to accommodate our needs and requests. Our newlyweds were so excited to see the decorations set up at their room. Our family gathering was awesome and smoothly planned here . We enjoyed playing in the pool which is so clean all the time.

Love the resort concept! It has everything we need - nature, peace, entertainment. The room is so clean and comfortable. Wake up to see part of the forest through our window.

The location of the resort is very strategic. It has many other attractions around it as well - waterfall, hiking trails and etc. Thanks to Chen and his team for the amazing hospitality and guides.

Stayed there for a night and it was one of the best experience. The rooms were small but clean. The sound of the nature was marvelous. The pool and the whole place basically was kept clean. Had a really good relaxing family time there. They provided bread and hot drinks throughout the day hence at night it's nice to sit by the pool playing board games with a hot mug of coffee and just relax. Will definitely go again.

Amazing place @strategic location! Close to town and places like KKB town, waterfall, Selangor dam. Created beautiful memories here with my cousin sis! Stayed in the small but cozy room located at the back, bathroom is clean and spacious with heater. Room is quiet and peaceful with amazing view (forest is just at the back), morning view is perfect. Only regret is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy the pool.
The owner - Mr Chen is very accommodating and nice. Concerned of our safety and even checked with us at night to see if we're back to our room. We requested for late check out due to the timing of our activity and glad he agreed, otherwise we'll be in a rush.

The place is so chill and cozy. I came here for company team building. It is suitable for gathering and team building, here got a swimming pool, can do BBQ also. Other than that, can arrange some fun activities like night jungle trekking and water rafting also.
The owner and staffs are very friendly.

Very relaxing, very calming, and peaceful. Room was clean.
Parking area safe, and gated. The whole area is clean, and quite well equipped. Breakfast of Nasi Lemak provided. Free Milo, Coffee, tea, and filtered water. Room has plenty of books to read, it's truly a good idea for today's day, and age of everything digital.

A truly amazing experience here with beautiful nature environment. The room is very clean. Had been assisted by the staff called ‘Aina’ nicely. Very polite and easy to communicate on first till the last day stay here. Will repeat again very very soon. Really recommend for those who like to go with nature. We have a Happy family gathering while having the entire place to ourselves at Sarang. We had an absolutely delightful time filled with joyful moments. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Sarang by the brook as a family & friends outing, also we have a welcoming and highly responsive owner Mr Chen to take care our stay here.

The jungle night trek was an amazing experience and dipping into cold and clean river water and it's water fall. The resort is so tranquil and serene. The jungle symphony is so soothing!

Sarang by the Brook is a gem within Kuala Kubu Bharu, located nearby the town tucked in within green lushes, gave us a serene and tranquility atmosphere, we had the entire place for our selves, loved our bbq session, Chen and his staffs had been really accomodating to us for the entire stay, their hospitality is top notch, they made us fet welcome from the our arrival. The place has a 24 hours salt water pool to dream for, so you can jump into the pool anytime of the day. The place is very well maintained and clean, bubble gum scent towels, minimalist interior, overally it was a great choice for us to put at Sarang By The Brook!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. We had the best time. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and we spent alot of time in the pool. Location is perfect as only 5 mins away from city and max 15 mins away from any hiking spot/hotspring. On top of that, breakfast is provided and unlimited coffee/tea/milo for guest.

Had a great short getaway with my girlfriend at this lovely place in KKB.

Rooms
We had a small room with a wonderful view facing the jungle. The room was well kept, and clean which is impressive considering it’s jungle setting. It can get a little hot during the day but the room comes equipped with air conditioning which helps.

The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with towels, body soap and shampoo. Bidets are also present near the toilet, and the water pressure in the shower head was really good, perfect for a cold shower under the hot sun!

Accessibility
The location was good, not too far from KL but far enough to feel like you’re having a getaway. Location is near the KKB city centre (about 8 mins drive), and sufficiently near to the activities found in KKB (hot springs, numerous waterfalls). Food options may be a tad limited as it is a small town, but there are some decent options!

Facilities and activities
The premise had a saltwater swimming pool available 24/7 which was cooling and clean! A central cooking area was also present, fully equipped with cookware and utensils.

A water dispenser is also present at the common area, complete with tea, coffee and milo available for self-service. Hairdryers are also present in the common area. There’s even a television equipped with all channels in Astro (which my girlfriend and I utilised to watch English Premier League matches at 3 am!). Rest assured, the Management exercised control to ensure noise levels are manageable after 10 pm.

As for activities, there are a few guided tours conducted by the property for cool activities such as picnic hikes, sunset jungle trekking, white water rafting and more. We did not manage to try these guided tours as many of them were not available as we visited during Raya, but we’ll be back to try them out soon!

Hospitality
All the staff were well-trained and friendly to our needs. We were also provided free breakfast in the form of a simple but hearty nasi lemak packet!

The owner, Chen, was also there during our stay and made sure to check in on us to ensure our stay was going well. He also helped start our fire on a charcoal BBQ grill, which was really appreciated!

Summary
Overall, this was a great short getaway in Sarang, surrounded by the peace and quiet of nature and really good hospitality! Would definitely come back :)
