Very authentic, traditional coffee shop run by Uncle Tan and his wife. Excellent service. Love the teh tarik (tasted like at a mamaks) and the hailam fried noodles and fried rice. Winner is the roti bakar.

This place is famous for their chicken chop and it was quite tasty. Some of my friends didn't like it because the chops were over fried but I didn't mind.

Friendly boss man who I think must have quite an interesting backstory because the walls of his restaurant are lined with his achievements and photos with big shots.

It's like being transported back in time to eat at this place, very nice nostalgic atmosphere.

Came here for the breakfast, the portion is really big for me. Everyone is ordering their famous chicken chop, so we also try on it. For us the roti kaya and mee hailam is the best.

Very classic, old school kopitiam which is nice and hard to find these days. Ordered ice coffee, hainanese chicken chop and kaya toasts. All was okay, bring me back to old days. Definitely worth a try if you're here in KKB, don't expect too much from a small town though. Went at 7am because google says it opens at 7am, however uncle open slightly late at 8am. super authentic chicken chop. Worth my 1 hour drive from kl to visit for breakfast. aunty that us attending the stall is super friendly too. Feels so cozy to come here for a drive and breakfast in the morning. Recommend to come in morning before 10am. atmosphere is cozy and cooling

This place is the only Pork free Hailam restaurant in Hulu Selangor. The serve authentic Mee Hailam, chicken chop, soft boil eggs, Hailam bread with home made kaya and Hailam Coffee and Cham.

Their Chicken Chop is worth a try.

Place ambience is like of 1960s - 1970s.

Clean environment with clean and comfortable toilets. The staff was very helpful to borrow us an umbrella during a heavy rainy day.

Nice Hailam mee here which I tried, others recommends the hailam chicken chop. Excellent place for a meal.

Old skol ambience for the old fashioned breakfast... Toast, coffee and half boiled eggs. You can sit in the alley if you wish!

Very cosy coffee shop in this quiet town. Had toast and eggs and the eggs are perfectly done. They even use kampong eggs and they big! There are many coffee shops around i can see this is the best

Had our breakfast there as a change from KL fare. Quite ok experience with a small town feel. Service was fast, probably because it was low peak hours.
Food tasted ok: all of us enjoyed the food. Didn't try the mee Hailam etc. We just ate bread and eggs. Will try other food when we return the next time

Ordered the kuey teaw goreng and it was so delicious. My fav for now. But the service i think need mooore improvement. It's not they rude or watever but need more assistant lah. Maybe d/t sop then everything is kelamkabut. But it's okay lah. Must try!

Quite well kept. It's cool place to hangout for coffee or tea. Had a few packs of nasi lemak with sambal . Yes in my opinion the foods here worth the money paid. Very good service. Overall had a pleasant experience here.

This place is truly a hidden gem in this town. Hainanese heritage in the form of scrumptious food. We ordered the Hainanese Chicken Chop, Mee Hailam, Hainanese Toast + Half/Soft Boiled Eggs and their tea/kopi. The food is packed with taste and leaves you in a nostalgic, comforting feeling. It's nothing fancy but you just know that history and heritage lies within the simplicity of it all. Chat up the owner or the staff when visiting too, if possible!
