Old bakery shop in kuala kubu... When we came, kaya roll already sold out... Bought Kaya puff and margarine cake... I prefer their margarine cake more than the butter cake... As for the Kaya puff, it's packed individually... I'd not tried it as at this writing... They sell wedding cake as well (the Chinese one)

Been 3 times go to kkb town.
1st thought its was normal cake. So nvr bought it.

And this time, giving heart to test. Omg, the cake was very soft. The taste was very very old generation one (when I was kid, 1980 years, it's that taste)

kaya puff - still crunchy even ate on 2nd day. The packaging very convenient.
Peanut butter cake - very soft, aroma peanut very nice.
Kaya swiss roll - very very soft and taste nice.

Overall won't too sweet, soft and nice.
Definitely will bought again when go there.

The Kaya Puff is filled with rich and least sweet Kaya jam. They have 2 types of butter cake, Butter Sponge cake (made with Butter) or Classic Butter cake (made with Margarine). Butter Sponge cake is super nice as it’s soft and fluffy 👍🏻

Call before you go to avoid dissapointment as they always sell out fast.

We stopped by Teng Wun Bakery & Confectionery in Kuala Kubu Bharu on the way down from Fraser's Hill returning to KL. We managed to buy kaya puffs and a variety of other traditional pastries. They used to have their brand printed on their takeaway boxes previously, but now use a generic box. The pandan layer cake was in short supply and we only managed to buy one box. The Pandan layer cake is light tasting and not too sweet, which makes it very nice. The kaya puffs were freshly baked and filled the car with a lovely aroma. Taste is good, very crunchy and is great with black coffee. We gave a few boxes to friends as gifts and all of them liked it very much. A mandatory pit stop to buy traditional pastries in KKB. Their durian cake is super duper good. It was not available when I went last year. So happy to get it this time. It's seasonal and not always available. So, it's best if you pre-order or call in advance to check availability.

Lovely old school bakery with yummy kaya puffs. Their butter chiffon cakes are also a hit but they can be limited in quantities so do call ahead to do a booking. Apart from these two, their cupcakes are as moist and fluffy as a cloud. Sweetness levels are just nice for the conscious

If you already try this teng wun kaya puff you will never like others kaya puff because is too delicious and you will never forget the taste~every time pass by sure will order 10boxes for family and friends~please take note better make order by phone call before going because always sold out~just make an order tell them what time will collect and they will prepare for you~

Favourite bakery for many years, and still the one to go to in Kuala Kubu Baru. We always get the butter sponge cake; and many of our friends and family members say that it's nice. Also do go for the Kaya puff.

Finally, I had my childhood memories bakery, it really traditional taste like 20 years ago which hardly find nowadays

Best with their kaya kok and sponge butter cake. Do note that they have 2 types of butter cake - classic type and sponge type.

Kaya puffs - A must buy, Eat it when it's HOT from oven.

Butter sponge cake - A must buy as well. Soft and fluffy. Please spread a thin layer of their homemade kaya (They sell kaya too) on your slice of cake before eating it.

Homemade kaya - I like the rich flavour. A bit too sweet for me.

Pandan layer cake - OK

Sedap. The kaya puffs are really really flakey! He shop is not halal certified but they’re not using any alcohol or lard in their bakery.

Come KKB where can don't buy Teng Wun Kaya Puff leh! Highly recommend this kaya puff. The crust is so soft and flaky; while the kaya won't sweet and the combination is just perfect. It might be the best kaya puff I ever had. Its come into 5 pieces in a box. Abit regret I just bought 1 box for whole family.

Absolutely love their Kaya Puff and Kaya Roll - very different than those that you can find in KL. Kaya puff has a very nice small size, delicious kaya, and crunchy skin, while Kaya roll is so fluffy. Great to buy if you are visiting KKB.
