The best part of this place is that the therapist tries to identify the problem and acts on that. She does not try to heal the symptoms hurriedly. That was new for me as I had been going to many therapists who only tried to stop my pain. She for the first time helped me understand the root cause of my pain attacks and made it easy for me to go through the healing process. And yes, no machines at all! That was the best part. Highly recommend anyone with physiotherapy needs.

Excellent physiotherapist especially for pregnant women. At 22 weeks pregnant I developed sciatic nerve pain. The sharp pain was gone after the first session. As my baby grew we continued with more exercises and worked on correcting my posture.The Pregnancy Prep and Breastfeeding Prep courses were also very beneficial. Location is great with ample parking space.

Earlier I had thinking that any physiotherapist can do very basic treatment but now totally changed very experienced and technical like Yi Jing who can solve any muscular related problems which I learned too that any problem first start from muscles then goes to next level. Like Here my 2 major problems have been solved related to Ankle swelling and TMJ . Especially Ankle I got many medical other medical treatments but no improvement even doctors said its gout but Yi Jing analysed it's gout excep only muscles which was really corrected by just physical techniques along needling. Thanks so much to Yi jing who is extremely expert I have seen so far . Great !

It had been great having my physio sessions with koon. She treated me for my ankle injury. Very knowledgeable and great skills. She really helped me to understand the cause of the injury and helped me correct my posture and gait to not only heal my ankle, but also avoid reinjury in the future.

After I delivered my 2nd baby, I had terrible tailbone pain. I thought it would go away in a couple of days, but it continued for 2 or 3 weeks. It was so painful I couldn't even sit properly.

I came here to consult Yi Jing, and we started treatment right away. I could feel some improvements after 3 sessions, and after about 5 sessions I was feeling so much better. There was still a bit of pain, but it did not bother me a lot anymore.

The treatments included bone adjustments, muscle releases, exercises, and lifestyle changes.Thank you Yi Jing for helping me!

Beyond Physiotherapy is the go to place especially for pregnant mummies (online consultations are also available during the pandemic). I'm glad I found Yi Jing to guide me through my pregnancy journey .My sciatic nerve pain during pregnancy reduced tremendously after only 2 to 3 sessions with her and at - home exercises she taught me. I also followed her advice and guidance later during my third trimester of pregnancy for my Breech positioned baby. The interventions / exercises she suggested were highly effective in which the baby turned head down only after 2 weeks. She also guides mummies on exercises / positions to ease labour and for a smoother labour experience. Highly recommended!

I have attended online pregnancy preparation class organised by Beyond Physiotherapy during my 28 weeks of pregnancy. I found it is very useful and practical especially the exercises preparing for labouring during pregnancy and during labour stages which were shared very detailed in the class. Yi jing is very friendly, patient and professional physiotherapist. She corrected our sitting and standing positions one by one via zoom video call. Finally, my delivery was considerably smooth, unmedicated and relatively short eventhough that was my first baby. All these credited to the breathing and pelvic exercises that i have learnt from the pregnancy class and did it frequently before and during my labour & delivery. Thanks Beyond Physiotherapy for the guidance and supports. Highly recommended for all mummy to be to join the pregnancy preparation class.

I'm at my 3rd trimester pregnant and having sciatic nerve pain for 2 months. I couldn't sleep on my left or right sides for too long because of the pain. The only sleeping position I felt comfortable was lying flat or half sitting up which caused new pain in my tailbone. I attended Yi Jing's online workshop for pregnant mommy and tried her methods, it has greatly alleviated the tailbone issue. I got more help from her through online consultation where she patiently pointed out the issues of my gesture, some mistakes in physio exercises, and she taught me more exercises to relief my sciatic nerve pain. After few days of exercises, now I could sleep on left and right sides better and longer time without having to sleep in half sitting up position. Finally I could chill in the last few weeks of my pregnancy.

Btw, she also taught various exercises via online classes to prepare for smooth delivery. Go for it if you're currently pregnant and wanting a natural labor!

Yi Jing is hands down the best physiotherapist I’ve ever had. She’s extremely knowledgeable, intuitive and goes the extra mile for her clients. I saw her after my son was born as I was keen to get back into shape, and get back to running outside. She supported me with exercises to build up the strength in my hips to avoid injury, and we had regular appointments to help ease shoulder and chest tightness from working at a desk. She does acupuncture, massage and many other remedies for aching bodies

I have amazing experience with Yi Jing! She is patient and someone who is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile. My menses have been all along very painful due to cyst problems. I have known Yi Jing since 2019 when she was in SG. How she taught me Arvigo belly massage, listening to fertility Friday podcast. Though she is now back in Malaysia, I started Zoom sessions with her, each session always beyond 45 mins but she did not charge me further and yet patiently explained what to do and very clear steps demo for doing the exercises to help me release tensions around my pelvic area. Knowing more on diet , lifestyle , how to breathe properly and sleep well. It is very all rounded. I am amazed by the knowledge that she has including moxibustion. I have arranged a women’s health seminar to touch on menstrual health topic for my family and friends. They were all very blessed. She is definitely someone u can see for menses related issues. Thankful for such a great physiotherapist! Highly recommended!

My experience with therapist Yi Jing has been excellent as she was able to treat my tensed jaw and shoulder effectively. Over the course of about 2 months with weekly sessions, I’m now able to rotate my head to the right esp while driving, without any pain.

I also suffered from tennis elbow (overexertion) and foot pains ( from regular running). Yi Jing took me through some physiotherapy exercises, including dry needling, which were very effective in resolving the issues on my elbow and foot. The exercises included strengthening the glutes and developing a proper gait while running.

With a combination of deep tissue massage, needling and practical exercises to strengthen the relevant muscles, I’m now free from foot pains and have even stopped using my KT tape!

I am grateful to have engaged Yi Jing as my physiotherapist as the results have spoken for themselves. I highly commend Yi Jing as a true professional in her area of expertise!!

Knowing YiJing thru Facebook online sharing event and decided to join her online pregnancy preparation class at the first trimester. Very informative class especially the perineal massage and pushing method which I believed helped a lot for virginal delivery. During second trimester, have serious pubic symphysis pain and visited YiJing. And it helped a lot to reduce the pain only in two visits! Pain during pregnancy is common but doesn’t mean it have to. Highly recommended for her service!

During the lock down, I had to work from home. I was using my dining table and chair as my work station. After several months, I found my left arm had no strength to lift heavy stuff. My left arm’s movement has also became restricted. I could barely touch my back with my left arm. So I went for physiotherapy.
After several sessions and constantly doing the exercises I was taught, my left arm’s reach gradually improved. I could now touch my back up to my shoulder blade.
While doing therapy on my arm, I shared with Yi Jing, I used to jog but during the lock down, my knees were giving me problem. I could no longer jog. Climbing stairs up or down was painful to my knees. I was contemplating to go for gel injection into my knees. But Yi Jing confidently said she can help me jog again. After several sessions and doing the exercises prescribed every day, now I could jog. I do not feel pain on my knees when climbing stairs.
After these experiences, I realise many aches and pains are caused by our bad postures which could lead to poor blood circulation, weaken muscles etc. And these can be corrected by physiotherapy.
I am very glad I consulted a physiotherapist back then.

I have an injured wrist and I engaged Beyond Physiotherapy through the recommendation of my wife . The physiotherapist Yi Jing is very good at identifying the cause and guide me on the recovery exercises step by step (Even on Zoom online session) . She also explained and we had a series of session for about 2 months and my wrist has fully recovered , additionally, through the exercise, i have also gained a stronger shoulder and delts .

I visited here because I have a chronic sciatica pain and a pelvic floor muscles issue after the baby delivery.

I developed pain in my left knee and right shin back when I first started training Muay Thai. It got to the point where running and skipping were getting too painful for my shins and even just squatting or getting up from a chair was stressful for my knee. Yi Jing helped me realise that it was because I had weak hips which made me overcompensate with my legs and resulted in such injury. She was very patient in helping me to understand my body and taught me various simple exercises that I could easily do at home without any help or tools that would strengthen my hips area and help me get better form. Now I no longer feel any pain in my knee and shin when I train. Very grateful to Yi Jing for helping me with my issues.

For many months, my right hand, arm and shoulder would hurt, even to the extent of numbness in fingers - which became a huge problem for me to continue working sitting using my laptop. This lasted for many months, and I sought help from various specialists (orthopaedic, neurology) without much significant improvement. When someone recommended physio with Yijing, I decided to give it a go as I was desperate. Yijing quickly identified what was wrong, treated my symptoms and taught me very useful exercises that helped me to recover. I enjoyed each session, as I also learnt fr Yijing on the inner workings and connections of the body and muscles, fascinating. Now I’m a pro-physiotherapy believer... a little goes a long way— with the right exercises, many of the aches or pains can be managed and recovery is possible without surgery or medication! She also taught me how to do certain physical training exercises the right way so as not to aggravate any muscle conditions. Thank you, Yijing!

I first consulted Yi Jing when i went to Singapore for a work assignment. She was empathetic, thorough and efficient. She put needles in my forearm and shoulder and stiff muscles became instantly soft. I was blown away. Returning to Kuala Lumpur, i went to several physiotherapists :- i was told to buy package after package, and the treatment would consist of an ultrasound, TENS, IF, EMS, diamagnetic, ice or heat therapy, in various combinations. I would be put through an assembly line consultation. Nothing really worked and at times i was worse off physically. Then Yi Jing returned to KL and I began consulting her again. She uses her bare hands, needles and teaches home exercises with cheap, easily available items. Her manual therapy is at once comforting, targeted and relieving. Muscles soften instantly. Yi Jing offers a skill that one seldom sees in the Physiotherapy world of KL. Singapore's loss has been Malaysia's gain. I cannot recommend Yi Jing highly enough. Thank you Yi Jing from the bottom of my heart.

I am 60 . I first saw Yi Jing when I had meniscus tear on my left knee. I also had backache issues and urine incontinence. Under Yi Jing constant care and encouragement, I learned how to do a variety of muscle strengthening exercises to help me get rid of my knee pain and back pain. I no longer need to go for surgery.

I first thought that urine incontinence was a natural thing that comes with old age but Yi Jing told me that it is not so. It got to a point that I will leak quite badly before reaching the office toilet. Also before I reach the toilet when I get home , as washing my hands under first under running water can trigger leaking of urine. Sometimes sneezing also causes my urine to leak. It was quite worrisome,. I am so glad to learn from Yi Jing how to do the correct pelvic floor exercise and breathing exercise, which is quite different from what i have learned before.
I am so much better now and able to hold my bladder. No more leaking. Very Grateful to Yi Jing.
