I SKOVEN @ Sendat

This place is super secluded. When we arrived there is only one other car. So it’s only us and another family. But we felt safe even though there is no one from the camp site in charge most of the times. The river is nice. There is flat area for kids to play around. The toilet and shower area is clean. Campsites is clean.

A superb campsite out of the city area. Packed with nature elements to really enjoy a peaceful weekend. River stream wasn't too strong, good flow to have a cooling dip with natural massage. Lots of insects if you're fan of tiny creatures. Venue is spacious and it's got dedicated slots for campers privacy. Telco signal is almost close to zero, you barely get enough just to receive text message every 6 hours. Also a good spot for quick campfire day trips.

This was my first camping experience, also doing it alone for the first time. Yet, felt really safe and peaceful at iSkoven.

It is a secluded area, mostly occupied by family and close-knitted friends campers. The campsite owners keep the occupancy at a limit, making it really spacious. No queue for shower / toilet / sinks. The facilities are basic but sufficient and clean for camping use. They have some LED lights at certain areas at night, not too bright that you can enjoy viewing the moonlight in a little darkness.

There’s no internet connection here. Perfect time to get disconnected and spend time with friends and family in the nature, accompanied by the sound of birds and cicadas. Could take time to read books, play guitar, chit chat, cook, and play / meditate at the river.

Not hot at night in the tent. Could sleep well.

We arrived here on a late friday afternoon and was planning to stay there for 2 nights. This place is magical and I could not describe it in words 😂

I Skoven campsite has been on top of the list so far. The quietness, serene with the sound of water, super calming and relaxing. The river flowing with crystal clear water. It gets murky after rain but clear off quickly.

The caretaker/owner is always available on site. You would not get any phone signals and internet. Just be there with the nature. Cannot wait to come back again.

Very nice place for casual camping as it's also secluded from the public Sg. Sendat area in the main road. I was lucky to be able to see fireflies dancing around during the night here.
Campsite and parking area have gates and staff guarding, so security-wise is adequate. Basic facilities are all there & well maintained, though I hope camp owner could put lamps inside the toilet itself instead of just the outside of the washrooms in the future, as it's a bit dark inside the toilet.
There's a bit of offroad to the campsite, but regular sedan can still pass through, just drive slowly and maneuver a little to evade some rocks/some small obstacles along the way.

Comfortable campsite. With clear river water flowing, it's soothing and peaceful. We enjoyed the cool refreshing dip the whole day.

Nice quiet place to camp. Toilets were clean and lots of logs for a good camp fire. Access to the site might be challenging for some as the road going into the camping ground is off-road.

Wonderfully, secluded camping grounds - great for singles and families alike wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Throw away your phones and tablets, it’s not going to work there. Breathe the fresh air instead and be one with nature!

We tried doing some ambitious pioneering work with bamboo harvested nearby. However, the kids preferred to stay the whole day at the nice sandy, river which is just a short walk away from our tents. We paid a small fee for the bamboo, and also a small fee for firewood for a campfire in the 2 nights we were there.

It can get really dark at night so bring on those fairy lights and solar lamps. It was also very wet and muddy for us coz it rained, but nothing a good fly sheet and a side baldi to wash your feet wouldn’t help with! If you are travelling with family and kids, ask for the camping grounds nearer to the sandy part of the river - it is also nearer to the parking area! No need to pull your stuff all the way up.

Toilets are decent and clean though maybe can add a few more shower cubicles. But our kids were happy bathing in the public showers! Cold water but very refreshing. Definitely a good place to be back again.

This is by far, i would say, the best campsite in Selangor. Mainly because of its superb secluded location, fully detached from the main premix road where most of the crowd came to picnic along sungai sendat causing a 'can stuffed with sardin' phenomenon especially during weekend. For its unique location, campers has the unusual priviledge to enjoy their quiet and quality time with their group members. This peaceful and tranquil campsite is further enhanced by the organiser/ campsite operater ; by limiting the total number of people allowed per day with added security by having the gate at the entry point closed at night.

In adddition, facility such as toilets and shower area are at comendable hygene level and properly maintained; most importantly - sufficient in catering to the daily use cancelling the need to endure unwanted long que. Proper full size heavy duty kitchen sink is also provided with ample side table for extensive dish washing. The toilet and kitchen is strategically positioned at 2 seperate points particularly at the edges of site for the convinience of the camper within nearest walking distance.

At night, the welcoming cool air coupled with the 'cicadas lead Ochestra symphony' and the bright moonlight penetrating the night sky is just the perfect setting enough to affirm one that he or she is at the right place, with time well spent, and ultimately a moment worthy to live for.

Nice secluded camp spot as management controls the crowd therefore sufficient space for everyone to go around. No queues at toilet.

Riverbank very suitable for kids.

Hygiene wise it is pretty darn clean. Workers there also helped us set up an additional canvas tent on top of ours when they sensed heavy downpour was incoming.

I would have given 5 stars if there was hot water for the shower. Not a big deal tbh. The route into the campsite is a rough terrain so it's recommended to drive in with a high clearance vehicle. No cellular coverage or network in the campsite.

The Campsite Operator and management, failed to enforce simple house rules on the campground. This caused many campers to be affected by a group of rowdy "campers" who were allowed to:
1) start pit fires 24 hours while other campers are camped down wind (smoke and ash)
2) drink, smoke, laugh and play loud music all the way until 3am!

Facilities are there, but with the ambiance ruined, nothing was appealing to me after that.

River section is short, lots of debris at certain areas, making accessibility an issue. Only 7 groups of campers, and the feel of the river is congested.

Been there, done that, move on to the next...

Bersedia untuk memunggah barang-barang ke tapak khemah. Tempatnya bagus dan mempunyai kemudahan asas yang baik.

So far okey laa tempat luas and selesa.. cuma untuk waktu malam lampu tak banyak sangat so banyak kawasan yang gelap.. benda lain semua okey… apapun terbaik laaa👍🏻
