The best gov office I been ever 💯💯

I visited for my passport renewal, I got there on Friday 10.30am, done around 11.30am. Eventhough, they don't serve customer super fast, but I saw the put 100% of their afford to sort things out.

They took averagely 10min to serve a customer, but 4 counters all are in operation, and all the officer are friendly and smiling all the time.

They take care of elderly, I saw and aunty queue in front of me, she don't understand what is "signature" but the officer explain politely with smile. ❤

They take care of babies, at the same they I saw another group of parents bring their 6month old baby for doing passport, officer help to attract baby's attention to look at the camera 📸

Thanks for all the officer, hopefully other gov office could learn from you guys 🙆🙆

So I applied online on 30th March at 12.30am and then at 8.20 in the morning, I got email saying that I have problem with the picture / thumbprint so I have to make appointment and go to the immigration office.

So I booked online for appointment on 31st March at 8am. From other people's experiences at other branches, people were queueing since 5am so I expected the same here. Hence I went around 6.15am and there was.....nobody.

I waited alone until 7am, and from that time, only people started coming. Hence I was the first one in line. So I really recommend people to come here to do your passport. Immigration office is located at the above of JPN (National Registration Office)

So at 8.00am, an officer came down to give waiting numbers, but required us to show our online appointment slip. For my case, the officer said to just go straight to counter 1 and hand over the receipt, appointment slip, original IC and the old passport.

So after I handed my passport etc to counter 1, the officer asked me to wait for my name to be called at counter 2. It was less than 1 minute, my name was called at counter 2.

The officer, Hafiz was very friendly and helpful. I needed to take picture again there, and fingerprint stamp was also required there. Finished my business at counter 2 around 8.05am and was told to wait for my name to be called at counter 1 again.

Around 8.05am only then other people started to come upstairs, some of them were given waiting number, I am not sure what's the difference between getting waiting number or not.

So around 8.12am, my name was called at counter 1, my passport was ready. The staff here named Saiful was also friendly. I just needed to sign the form & passport and overall I just spent 15 minutes at the immigration office (excluding queuing time).

Arrived at 9.20am to renew both my children's passport. Completed the whole process and collected the passports by 11.55am. The whole process was so smooth. Kudos to all the staff working there for such efficient service. Special mention to Puan Nur Hidayah and Encik Hafiz for being so warm and friendly throughout the process. Keep up the good work.

Super Fast Service... As long as you follow your appointment given... Counter 1 & 2 staffs have excellent communication skills... Very impressive... The downside is the office is too small and congested... Banting needs a government complex for JPN, JPJ and Immigration...

1. Friendly staff. Really help in passport renewal.

2. Make sure for muslim who are using hijab use DARK colour. Before these there are no issues with any hijab colour. Now they really want it in dark colour BLACK really recommended.

3. Less than 1 hour done with the renewal passport but make sure come before 9am.

Excellent service by all staff. Called the office a bit late at 4pm+ as I have questions about my 3month old son's passport and was worried that nobody would pick up the phone. To my surprise my call was immediately picked up at the first dial tone and the staff entertained all my questions in a very friendly n welcoming tone. Siap ucap 'Selamat Berbuka' lagi haha.

Came the next day at 8.45am, Friday and I was their first client! In other immigration offices, coming at this hour means u'll have a super looong queue ahead of u!! Office environment is comfortable although the office is a bit small. The counter staff were polite, helpful n all smiles, and even shared some advice on flying with babies - safety issues etc. Immediately felt like family.

pakcik beratur lepas subuh dan dapat nombor jam 8.00 pg, naik atas utk renew passport, 8.30 pg selesai semua dan boleh collect passport baru jam 9.30 pg. Cik Hafifah counter 2 sgt bagus dan sopan bila pakcik tanya beberapa soalan.
meski kecil ruang menunggu tetapi sgt efficient kerana ada petugas di bawah yg sorting dan bagi panduan. syabas !
di harap semua pemohon tumpu perhatian dengan arahan dan bila nama di panggil. jgn sibuk berbual, main games, pakai ear phone. anda lambatkan proses dan susahkan petugas menjerit jerit panggil nama.
