St James' Church

A great place to come and worship in the traditional high church Anglican setting. A friendly congregation that welcomes fellow worshipers. Sermons are conducted in the language of the Bidayuh. The services are held on Sundays starting at 7:30, but don't come too late. For it fills up rather quickly, usually with overflow sitting outside under the newly constructed extended canopy.

A Sunday school is available for ages 4 to 14
while younger ones can attend with a parent. The Sunday school holds special events and outings like the Christmas party, Childrens day party as well as outings to places of interest.

The church has been here for many years, I believe it was built in 1865, you can see it in the photo, the old church building. This is a historical site being the first mission site in the Bidayuh Biatah community in Sarawak.
