Chocol Ha

Charming says it best for the location and atmosphere. Very comfortable to sit and relax and indulge. My husband and I had Hot Chocolate, one was Dark Chocolate and a Chocolate Tamale, oh my goodness it was so so good! I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu. This is a must do in Campeche and right on 59th Street.

Perfect atmosphere and lovely staff. I had the iced chile chocolate and an almond milk cappuccino (believe both were vegan friendly as the chile drink is made with water) and both were absolutely delicious. The inside was air conditioned which was a welcome reprieve from the hot day, and I migrated outside when it cooled off. It’s giving secret garden. Beautiful spot. They also sell chocolate and coffee, among other small gifts - a nice touch.

Really nice chocolate place. They also serve tea, coffee and many more. You can eat too. There's outdoor seating and they sell coffee beans, chocolate and other delicacies to go. Worth the stop

Excellent place to have a hot/cold chocolate and some food. We ordered tamal de chocolate (chocolate baked with corn dough in a corn leaves), chocolate cake, champurrado (corn based drink mixed with cacao) and almond milk with cacao drink.

Incredible hot chocolate made with cacao nibs. We went back every day just to have their Chili Hot chocolate and sit in their serene back patio. We didn’t try their food or desserts, but the cup of hot chocolate was worth the visit.

This location has a colonial - modern twist. Great great great location. The drinks we had were very refreshing the ambience was perfect and the gift shop is perfect!

We wished we had found this sooner. Gorgeous, relaxed, comfortable setting. Good food and coffee all at very reasonable prices, far cheaper than other places on the same street and much better. If we had had the opportunity to go again we would have tried the chocolate with chilli which was recommended by our walking tour guide.

Lovely and peaceful back courtyard, delicious avocado toast with very soft bread they make in house. We also had iced coffees - have almond milk if you are vegan or dairy free, also lactose free was an option. We will be going back for lunch to try the sandwiches!

The garden courtyard is darling - relaxing and shady even on a hot day. Enjoyed their breakfasts and ice coffee. Their chocolate caliente was perfect, though I found their chocolate frío to be a bit too sweet. Service staff is super nice.

Very nice atmosphere with friendly and accommodating staff. My lunch was excellent fresh and flavourful. Great place to chill indoor and outdoor seating provided.

A very good place to have breakfast or supper, or to relax with a good chocolate, coffee or natural fruit sorbet.
They have the must delicious snacks and desserts: chocolate banana crepes, chocolate tamales or non-sweet tamales with tomato sauce... excellent!!
They are experts at making you feel at home, the atmosphere is welcoming from the tables in the famous 59th pedestrian sidewalk, to the nice garden to sit in the back, not the mention the inside: nicely decorated tables with hand-made tablecloths, the little store with unique items...
You can’t say you went to Campeche and didn’t go to Chocol-Ha.

Really good vegetarian breakfast options! A few more vegan options like oatmeal or a veggie tamale would be great. I loved the atmosphere and the kombucha was delicious!

A great way to enjoy Mexican chocolate and chocolate based drinks. We really liked the chilli hot chocolate.

Love the space for its being cozy, stylish and air conditioned on such a hot day. There’s also a garden for those who don’t mind the heat. The coffee was decent and the spinach quiche was good. There are natural and organic products you can buy, such as mosquito repellents, natural sunscreen, soaps, chocolate products, etc... I had a lovely conversation with the owner and she shared with me truly inspiring stories of Chocol Ha and other community projects. 100% recommend this place.

We tried hot chocolate with milk and hot chocolate with chilli (it was very subtle), both were amazing. The spinach quiche is also super good. Savory crepes were ok.

Very nice place we had some awesome frappes. I was able to find awesome souvenirs I would say the best from my trip to Campeche will definitely be returning the staff was very nice and patient with my children.

Love the hibiscus marmelade goat cheese crepe, the cold chocolate-chile beverage, and the spinach quiche with mixed greens salad and vinagrette! Lovely ambiance with 2 outdoor relaxing dining patios with shaded areas, and an indoor area as well with beautiful decor. A nice gift shop of chocolate products. I keep going back to this oasis🌺
