Restaurante El Porvenir

Locals recommend this restaurant, it is located in front of the Municipal cemetery, and which slogan is “ aquí se está mejor que enfrente” (better here than across the street) and they weren’t wrong. The food is excellent, there is a lot to choose from the menu. However, since it was our fist time in the restaurant, we accepted suggestions from the waiter and he did an excellent job, we started with “fuente de Mariscos”; ceviche was unique. Next we had the “Jaiba a la Frank”, “Camarones rellenos” (stuffed shrimp) and last but not least “caracoles marinos” ( marine snails), every dish was delicious.
Service was excellent, our waiter deserves also a 5 stars. We will return for more

Wow what a great tasting crab is what's tasty it was fantastic. You been eating tacos made out of cheese tortillas.

Jesus, our waiter, was awesome and extremely attentive. We were also able to meet Chef Angel and he was kind enough to take a photo with us.

Very nice place even for fancy events and family feasts. The staff is very nice and can give a good advice about the dish of the day and specials. The restaurant has his beautiful history and you can find a lot of details everywhere. A site to see and to enjoy for everyone.

Chef made us a special meal 2 of us went in wanting paella and the sale it for 8 people. Chef came made something similar it was great losts of seafood
