Mexipino Craft

We arrive on a Sunday about half an hour before they were closing... I know so bad of us! We have been to other restaurants where if we arrive near their closing time, they're kind of rude or they tell us it's only to go service, etc. There was none of that here! Although the restaurant was empty of guests and all clean ready to close... we were welcomed and greeted very cheerfully. We has a seat and ordered food and beverages.
The food was served quickly. Everything was very well prepared and very well seasoned. Very much recommended, we will be coming back here soon!

Legit. I can't describe it any other way. It's not just that the food is a creative blend of Filipino and Mexican. The quality of the food is fantastic. I had the Mexipino griddle plate and the mix of the longaniza and ube with the potatoes and eggs was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

So good! My favorite was the rice bowls and the Kalamansi mint drink!

great flavorful food with ample parking! we arrived a few minutes after they opened on a sunday and we’re promptly seated.

you could tell they were ramping up for a busy morning as a few people stopped in for online order pickup and takeout orders. we ordered calamansi mint juice which was delicious.

we also ordered the chicken and waffles as well as the pork trio. both dishes were portioned large and very well seasoned. highly recommended for mexican filipino fusion on familiar breakfast and brunch options. the kitchen is fairly open air to the seating so be mindful that your clothes may smell if you decide to dine-in.

Just know that the pancakes are big enough to share, the photo doesnt do it enough justice! Very nice ambiance inside the restaurant. The eaiter was extremely professional, attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. The food was amazing to say the least, like i said generous portions on just about everything. Definitely would recommend for brunch or even an outing with coworkers, friends, family.

Food was great and the service was nice. Would definitely recommend to try it out. Will also be coming back to try other items on the menu. Really enjoyed the food

I took my family out for brunch today… I found this unassuming little awesome restaurant MEXIPINO yes, just like the name suggests it’s a great cross between Mexican and Philippine food. We enjoyed the food (large portions) greatly and the service was exceptional as well. Definitely found a treasure to visit again and again.

Everything I have had here has been amazing! If you are looking for something a little different but familiar at the same time this is a great place to go. Great fusion of cultures with the Mexican and Filipino influences.

This place got a new look and a change in menu they added breakfast and now has a twist between Filipino and Mexican cuisine “mexipino” . The food looks and taste amazing the seating area is spacious and their staff is kind and informative very helpful , I like the changes compared to what it was before it was okay it just got better

Mexipino 2 for 1 deliciousness!!! Friends kept telling me about this spot, and I finally made it out on a Sunday morning😁. The menu is interesting and so many options to try! Let me just say you have to go hungry the portions are very well served. I tried the ube pancake that’s definitely must try. Main dish was the Benson it is pan de sal, longanisa, poached eggs, drizzled with some delicious green poblano sauce🤤 and a side of potatoes. Parking is no issue plenty of parking to choose from, and the service was perfect! Most definitely going back again🙌🏽

As you can figure out, the restaurant is Mexican-Asian fusion. Everything from Tocino to Bangus (pronounced "bangoose" with a soft g) to Chilaquiles. They have traditional Mexican, Filipino, and American style dishes available on the menu. I was impressed with the food and service. Me and the friend had the Mexipino Hash and Chilaquiles, paired with coffee and a refreshing calamansi drink. Very tasty and generous portions. We will be back to try the rest of the breakfast and lunch menu. I would recommend this place!

First off I want to say how good this particular restaurant customer service is, it was outstanding. They didn’t come to your table all the time and when you needed them they would ask to see what’s up. This restaurant has a clean environment, the tables were clean, no dirty stuff under the table, the bathroom is well kept and the floor is decently clean. The atmosphere of this place is family oriented and would be perfect for this type of people. Lastly the food is awesome, the portions are worth it and the taste is pretty traditional. I see some folks saying that food is either bland or to salty... fortunately with my visit I did not encounter any such taste. Would I recommend Mexipino? Absolutely give it a try if your in the are! I hope you have the same experience I got.

This place is a delicious option for breakfast and brunch in the South Bay! Chula Vista’s breakfast scene is pretty dominated by suburban chain restaurants, but this is a gem.

The food was delicious, well-prepared, and made to order. It’s not the fastest, but it’s well worth it for piping hot, fresh breakfast potatoes.

The Mexipino Hash Plate has got a little bit of everything on it: tidbits of every kind of breakfast meat among the two cultures represented in the menu here. They toss a smattering of black beans and garlic rice onto it all, which was a delightful surprise. The whole entree was topped with a 1/4 of a sliced avocado (and we didn’t even have to pay extra for it!).

The veggie scramble is also quite good, and probably the most generous in terms of all the mix-ins of any restaurant scramble I’ve had. Caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and more avocado, with a huge side of potatoes and pan de sal toast.

I’d come again just for that toasted pan de sal! Highly recommend.

Amazing hearty food with a traditional fusion mix of yummy breakfast and lunch favorites super cool plates that you won't find anywhere else...my breakfast sandwich was on a conchita with scrumptious meats and fresh avocado. I would absolutely recommend everyone to try this place! There aguas frescas were so refreshing. There's something for everyone here!

The place is very welcoming, very clean. Service is good too. The food, I just tried one dish, the Pork Trio Scramble. I asked to substitute Garlic Fried Rice instead of potatoes. It’s so delicioso / masarap! Perfect blend of salty and sweet, specially if like me, you will eat it with Jufran Banana Sauce (grew up eating spam with this sauce).

Love the concept and the food was tasty. Went for weekend brunch with my mom and it was not too busy, but it did take longer than ideal for the food to arrive. Other than that, everything was great. Food came hot and full of flavor. Mom had the chicken and waffles which were really good and I had a potato hash kind of thing and the spuds we're perfectly crispy on the outside - both were enough for us to make two meals out of. Def worth a stop if you're in the area. Easy strip mall parking.

Great brunch spot!!! Very convenient location although it was a but hidden. The logo is rather small to notice but the breakfast and lunch give it away pretty much. I ordered the Traditional Filipino Breakfast bowl and my fiance had the Mexipino breakfast plate. Both were super delish!! Highly recommend the spot. Very clean and organized.

First off let me say this is one of those little neighborhood gems you don't want to miss and even though they're finishing up with the remodel the place was not dirty at all. Richard the owner greeted us as soon as we walk through the door and is one of those guys that so friendly you feel like family by the time you leave. They have a huge menu from smoothies and breakfast all the way through lunch and dinner and even though it was lunchtime he was more than willing to make breakfast for us. We ordered the delicious salad which is a walnut and grape salad with honey mayonnaise dressing and it was both large and delicious. And I ordered the beef milanesa which was melt-in-your-mouth tender and also a large portion we will definitely be going back. Everything was Super Fresh, guac., salsa, everything!
