Great place awesome food and great service! Love the whole deep fried sanpper! Best Chiladas in Imperial Beach by far!

We were in IB for one week and came to eat here twice. This place has some great menu offerings and great service. I had the Governador tacos, and Aguachile verde which was delicious. Guacamole, chips, and salsa was great. We also had a variety of their ceviche tostadas between the two visits and were impressed with all we ate. If you are looking for authentic Mexican Mariscos (Seafood) this is your place in IB. My son had their chicken Enchiladas which he really liked. Upstairs you can see the ocean which we did the second time and just made our meal even better. Cold beer and tasty margaritas too. Check it out, we recommend it!

The food is great, generous, and very reasonably priced. Service is friendly and it's on the beach!

The food was fresh, tasty, and authentic.I had calamari, beans, guac and chips. The guac was freshly made, but might have been spiced for us gringos. We added their delicious salsa and some salt and pepper and it was perfect. My sweetie had a hot, spicy shrimp soup. They have a large menu, including seafood, traditional Mexican dishes, and breakfast (I believe until 1pm). One of us ordered a mixed drink and it was delicious and nicely presented. They have outdoor, covered patio seating and pleasant music. The service staff were pleasant, prompt, and busily making sure things were tidy and clean when they were not serving customers. The prices are quite reasonable. Parking was easy today (Sunday) but Imperial Beach can be crowded sometimes. It was our first visit, but we will return and bring friends next time and a bigger appetite! Next time I will try the shrimp ceviche and enchiladas. The IB pier is a short walk from the restaurant. Great customer service! Drinks are amazing!!! Good food, fish tacos are bomb. Amazing cold beer, great atmosphere!! And the fact that one gets to breathe in the ocean breeze (right next to the beach) is a plus!!!! Will definitely be back!!! Thumbs up to Frankie, Gaby, and the bartender!!! Really nice bartender/server since we sat at the bar. Good drinks! Good food! It was taco tuesday, all day so didn't have to wait until happy hour for the $1.85 fish tacos!
And they have stuffed yellow peppers with shrimp on the app menu. So delicious!

Fresh seafood Mexican style. Very friendly and fast service. Tasty warm "totopos" chips and sauce. Really recommend 7 mares soup, shrimp, octopus, calamari, fish, clams, mussels, crab in a red spicy sauce it will invigorate you and strengthen your entire well being! My opinion..

The food was amazing. I had the Molcajete a LA Vizcaina.

The fish tacos were delicious the staff was great and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Wow!!! 4th of July treat!!! I had the Campechana and Ceviche tostada, my taste buds had their own 4th with an explosion of Mexican seafood, some of the very best I have had, great service, beautiful ambiance, steps from the beach. Got to try!

Great place!! The guacamole, chips and salsa were spot on!! The cold beer didn't hurt. Not sure why this place has any bad review's.

I love the place, great campechanas, great location, is a really nice place to eat after a day at the beach, one of the best places for seafood! Fresh & delicious, they know how to prepared seafood.. with a lot of flavor....

Large outdoor area is a nice spot if it's cooler outside. Dog friendly and the service is good. I really liked the margaritas here.

This restaurant in Imperial Beach was the site for the 50th reunion mixer night of Mar Vista High School Class of 1969!! GO Mariners!! It was a great place for over 100 of us to gather, talk, drink, eat small chicken or beef tacos, rice & beans, chips and delish shrimp ceviche salsa/dip with guacamole!! There were two floors & an outdoor patio in front with tables & standing room to tell stories & catch up with all the alumnae we could recognize (name tags, thank you!). There were ocean front & views of the IB pier. My wine was avg price ($7/glass). It was a wonderful time together from 5 PM to 10 PM (and then some, of course).
I highly recommend this Sonoran delight!

The food was delicious, and the staff friendly! We ordered the grilled salmon and the stuffed Chile's, and both tasted amazing!

Jose is the best. So willing to help and give advice on the menu items. We actually came back for the ceviche with marinated shrimp.

Marinated shrimp ceviche is amazing. I love the food so far, the salsa is great and I can't wait sure my fish taco

A great place to go for your afternoon cocktails. Chips , Salsa & Guacamole is good too. Ask for Jose Jose he's amazing!
