Organ Pipe NM campground.

It is a lovely, uncrowded campground. And the views are marvelous, of the Ajo mountains across the valley. We used a tent space and it was fine for our small 4-wheel camper pickup. The roads are paved, and each site has a BBQ rack and a picnic table. Some have covered tables as well.

Bathrooms have flush toilets, showers in spring, and are clean and well lit. Recommend highly for this who wish to explore this little traveled corner of AZ.

Rv park mixed with nature. Great sunsets. They have sizes on sites/reservations. Mine was about a foot short of the max. Plenty of room in site for trailer and truck. roads are narrow and tight getting into site.

Twin peaks campground is a hidden gem. I hate to give away this secret. It’s very clean and well maintained. The desert beauty can’t be beat.

This was one of the best camping spots we have stayed at in a long time. The spots are large, lots of native plants helps separate the camping spots, and everything was clean. We loved the quiet peaceful days and nights. And the night sky’s were amazing. We really enjoyed the many trails for hiking and the nightly ranger talks. Yep … one of the best camping spots we have stayed at in a long time.

A great campground for an overnight or a week. We always stay in the generator-free zone but generator hours are enforced so everyone can enjoy the desert. The pads are concrete and level and come in lengths for biggest rig. No power or water at the sites. No ground fires but a grill is provided. Some sores are verdant with desert growth and every site has some. Enough small clearings next to the pad for solar panels tho. Flush toilets with solar showers dot the campground — but I’ve never had a warm shower due to competition from other showerers. The campground has a mile hiking loop around it that many use for exercise and dog-walking. Most sites have great views of the desert.

Great Little gem only eight miles from the Mexican border. The landscape is incredible especially in the spring when the flowers are blooming. No hookups just dry camping at $20 a day. There is a dump and fill station. Generators can be run and they have extended times but with the solar I have on my roof I don't need to run mine.

Although busy the campground was very quiet at night. The facilities were kept clean and staff was friendly. The snacks at the Visitors Center were overpriced but that's pretty typical for NPS or their vendor..... Be sure to check out Ajo Mountain Drive after checking conditions.. Tent camping on a motorcycle....... Excellent stay for a reasonable price...... Old guy discount......

This is a great place for hiking, being out in nature. Unusual experience today though. A storm system headed to the southern Plains and destinations east decided to drop snow ❄. Fortunately, it's a passing fancy and tomorrow will be in the 60s!

Beautiful area with every cactus style you can imagine. Clean and reasonable sites pull through with a nice view of surrounding cactus etc. several short hikes and dog friendly trails. Will be back for sure.

One of the nicest campgrounds we’ve visited. Very clean and well-kept. Nice sites with concrete pads and plenty of room at each site. No electricity, water or sewer at sites, but water is available and there are times twice daily to use generators. Clean restrooms and dump station. We used an RV site but noted the tent sites are also very nice. There are hiking trails nearby, as well as some interesting drives. The border is very nearby, too. No issues or concerns with safety tho. We would certainly return here!

What a great national park campground! We spent 3 enjoyable nights among Organ Pipe Cactus plants and other desert plants. Each campsite had a picnic table and grill. The solar showers were free - and there was plenty of water. It wasn't very warm, but we didn't plan our showers for the warm time of day. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Water was available close to each campsite & a filling and dump station was located at the very back of the campground. I did walk the perimeter trail that went around the entire campground. It was a perfect length. Dogs on leashes were allowed on the trail; they even had several stations along the trail that had bags for cleaning up after dogs. The campground was not full. We arrived on Monday and left Thursday morning. We would recommend this terrific campground to anyone.

Campsite number 187 at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is one of the few that has a pavilion / ramada, shade cover-thingy. I got lucky finding one available. There are only five of them in the tent section of the campground.

Anyway, arriving at the campground, I found everything ready for me. Check in took just a few seconds at the ranger-manned kiosk. The whole site was very clean and the outlined and graveled tent pad was actually raked. My reservation was prominently displayed on the number post.

Drinking water, trash receptacles, and toilets were very nearby.

Campsites were well spaced apart - I didn't fell like I was too near my neighbors. The best part, though, was that people were quiet. By nine o'clock there was no noise. Behind me was the last RV loop which was a no generator loop, so I didn't even hear that noise during the very restricted use hours.

I'd highly recommend this campground if you are ever in the area, not that there are any other choices (except for Alamo Canyon's four tent sites, which is a bit of a drive and non-reservable).

This is a great campground to come and explore either in your vehicle, bicycle or on foot. We've enjoyed camping here and with the spacious lots and concrete pads, it's a great place together.

Great campground. Love that you can actually just show up without reservations in March and have lots of options to choose from. Stay close to/in the tent loop to avoid listening to generators. Use the RECREATION.GOV app to see open spots when you arrive. Nice trail to visitor center.

This campground was great perfect for star viewing awesome sunsets and rises, bathroom was clean as was a shower area but it was super busy and had to wait in line every time. This campground has a Wilder feel than the rest and was perfect we stayed in a tent and it worked well.
