Lion Fish

Busy on an early Friday evening I arrived around 18:00. First I was sat outside at the front but as it was slightly cold they moved me inside upon my request, bare in my I had no reservation to start with! The staff are friendly and some speak English. Toilets were clean as expected. I was served a complimentary starter of nacho chips which I think was Doritos seasoned with pepper flakes and some dips which I didn’t like the taste of but they were fine. I then ordered two dishes to try for my main. The catch of the day and the grilled prawns/shrimps. They were severed with tacos and rice and a little chopped onion tomato cucumber salad dish for the taco filling. I was recommended the flan for dessert and I ordered it with mint tea which was served as basic teabags, no complaints but I would suggest a higher quality tea bag brand. I had a Pleasant overall experience.

About a 20 minute easy walk from the boarder. The service was amazing but the food was extraordinary! From the chips and dip (aioli 10/10), to the fresh catch & other seafood items. I highly recommend!

Enjoyed my time and the food that was served a lot here, would defo come back again, portions are generous as well.

Great place it has amazing ambience, the staff was all to eager to assist with all your needs. The ratio between guest and staff is at least 2:1. The tostadas was everyone favorite I opened for the fish of the day, it did not disappoint. Great place and highly recommended.

This was easily my favorite meal of any restaurant I’ve ate at in a very long time. Service and food were exceptional from start to finish including the chips and salsa. I would be happy to eat here everyday. The menu is extensive enough to keep you interested whether you wanted to eat cheaply or indulge in the decadence of the full menu.

Highly recommend a visit for anyone considering. Will definitely return and remember this meal for a long time.

Place deserves every one of those 5,000 reviews. So good. You would not be disappointed. Seafood is great and the price isn’t bad either. The waiters are great here and the rooftop is reallyyyyy nice. I’d recommend you check it out!.

Edit: came back years later and it’s just as good. There are still 3 dining areas. Israel, our waiter had excellent service. Place is a winner. Nice vibes. Workers are even dancing. Reminds me a lot of Cancun

Lion Fish has some of the best ceviche my fiancée and I have had. The food is delicious and the presentation of the food is artisanal. Be advised, they do use peanut in some of their dishes (who would have known, it’s seafood) so if you have a food allergy be sure to ask.

Also they have valet parking which can be painfully slow. After our meal we waited probably 15 minutes to get our vehicle and leave.

The food was delicious the customer service was beyond words Humberto y el Russo were super attentive and welcoming.

My favorite seafood restaurant in TJ. The service is excellent and the food is amazing. I highly recommend the grilled octopus. It's phenomenal! The specialty drinks are delicious, I recommend the Flor De Piña and the Pulpo Ahumado. They even have a DJ playing music on the balcony.

A beautiful, spacious restaurant with fantastic food, service and ambience. We sat on the covered outdoor patio downstairs. It started sprinkling outside and in moments the shade pulled down and heaters were rushed in to be sure that the guests were comfortable. We had the coco shrimp which was delightful, rich, not terribly sweet, satisfying and so delicious. We also had bonteras with shrimp and octopus; amazingly fresh and tender. The grilled oysters were also tender and tasty. A beautiful place for a celebration or a relaxing place for a meandering dining experience.

This restaurant was amazing with delicious food and outstanding service. Orklelder was our server today and he was on top of everything. They started us off with complimentary chips and salsa while our drinks were made. I highly recommend Julian’s Special and my partner had the Micheluca. We ordered a scrumptious appetizer of Camerones Roca that came with a spicy mayo sauce for dipping. They had just the right amount of crunch and the shrimp were tender and delicious. For our meals I had two tacos - the Quesa Lion and the Enchilado Camerones. Bothe were delicious but, surprisingly, I actually enjoyed the Enchilado taco more due to the level of spiciness. My partner had the Longa Pescado which was an absolutely huge piece of fish with veggies. That was also super fresh and enjoyable.

The restaurant has convenient valet parking and plenty of staff to serve all of your needs. I highly recommend Lion Fish and can’t wait until we can visit again soon. One of my favorite restaurants in Tijuana and much more economical than the location located in San Diego.

Absolutely amazing service! We were a party of 4 and boy did we enjoy ourselves! We started with drinks, appetizers, meal and then desert!

Every single thing we ordered was outstanding! Thank you for the freshness and flavor! Normally we need to add salt to our meals and this time flavor was on point!

Tip:Valet parking is a must! Parking is difficult otherwise.

From arrival to fast service straight to our table and while being at the restaurant and leaving I have to say exceptional and excellent service. Food was absolutely delicious. All staff very attentive and responded at a fast and on point. I really recommend Lion Fish.

This is my favorite seafood restaurant in Tijuana. All their seafood is great and drinks are cold and strong. Service is top notch, courteous, respectful and prompt.

Great food and atmosphere. We showed up a few minutes after they opened on a Tuesday. The staff was a little slow getting into the work groove. This initially tempted me to give a much lower rating because I was getting hangry. But they got it together and the food was awesome.
