Restaurante Casa Plasencia

A very classy and macho restaurant and bar dedicated to the blood sport of bull fighting. I was taken here by a local who ordered off the menu. We started with tripe and pulpo served in a rich demi. Caesar salad table side from the original recipe from their sister restaurant Hotel Caesar. We moved onto a delicious set of beef ribs cut Mexican Costilla style. Slow cooked to perfection. Well worth the stop.

We had the Serrano ham and Mediterranean cheese appetizers. Delicious! Very good bread. I had the Shrimp with butter and garlic with the paella rice. It was exceptionally good. Highly recommended restaurant.

People extremely nice and food is awesome , I would say they need translator to help with foreign speaking people. It overall they are accommodating

One of my favorite spots to hang out with friends. The servers are exceptional, food is amazing an valet service is great. You gotta check this place out. 😁

Best spot in TJ! Have been here 5 times, and everytime I have a great time, professional service and amazing food. I barely speak Spanish, and these guys always go out of their way to make me feel at home. I’m writing this review because I had the opposite experience at a place called Cabana down the street, and it made me realize just how special this place is.

This place never disappoint me. I was there for lunch a couple of days ago. And everything was excellent. We started with the delicious fried calamari. I ordered the paella and my companion ordered a steak. They both came with soup or salad. The paella was very flavorful and the steak was cooked to perfection. Very tasty also. Great selection of wines by the glass or the bottle. Very pleasant music and excellent service. Can’t wait to get back.

It's one of my favorite restaurants, the food is excellent, the martinis and desserts are amazing. Service is quite good, and sometimes they have rondalla playing around. Love this place.

Service was on point, the Cesar salad (which is made right in front of you) is fabulous with authentic dressing flavor, main course (party of 3) was well proportioned in serving and doesn't look like a plate of dog food. We had beef plates and they were so tasty. I wouldn't recommend a specific plate, but to hint on trying anything on the menu which I'm sure youll enjoy.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tijuana. This legendary Spanish restaurant is a must stop. The ambiance is old world with dark wood and tiled floors. It's a living tribute to Spain's love affair with bullfighting. The magnificent open kitchen puts you right up close to the magic. Add a great menu enhanced by a professional staff and you're transported to Madrid for a few hours. I highly recommend the paella for those wanting to fully immerse themselves in a cultural experience.

Tijuana has one of the top chefs in the world, his name is Javier Plasencia, this is one of the OG tip restaurants in Tj, they have good wine an most of their dishes are based on traditional Spaniard cuisine, it never fails either for a romantic night or a get together with close friends, must try and ENJOY!!
