Mole Poblano House

Food is delicious .. music is for old people tho … but everything else is fine !!! Highly recommended .

Casa de Mole was one of the first places I ate at years ago with my now partner in life so it definitely has a special place in our hearts. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food on this trip over the border and only got the signs and some of the decorations. We went on a weekday evening for dinner and were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess and seated at a table. They have the most amazing (in my opinion) salsa that I often buy to take home. I don’t know what it is about it but I absolutely love it. They give you salsa and fresh tortilla chips when you are seated. They also bring over a chicken consomé bowl which is a nice touch. Tonight we tried the Poblano and Ranchero Moles and the Chipotle Crema Chicken. All dishes come with rice and beans and tortillas on the side. I think they will automatically come with corn tortillas if you don’t ask for the flour. All of the dishes were piping hot when they arrived at the table and they were all delicious. Service at the restaurant was outstanding as well. And yes, I did take a container of the salsa home with us.

Hadn't been there in a while. But the food an service are still good. Had the three salsa enchiladas (chipotle, tomatillo and mole) and they were just what I needed, very tasty and accompanied by a good amount of rice and beans. Mom had the queso panela enchiladas and she loved them. Hand made tortillas are a plus, and the avocado appetizer was fresh and not small.

The food was delicious and our server was fantastic! If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Tijuana, I would definitely recommend it!

My family and I visited La Casa Del Mole on Mother's day and there were no regrets! We failed to make a reservation ahead of time and ended up waiting about 15minutes to get seated. Not bad at all! The nice lady who was our server gave us impeccable customer service. She constantly checked on us and refilled our drinks. The food was delicious! They give you a complimentary stew/caldo when you order a main dish. It was amazing! Everyone was happy with their food. They have a chili flake mixed with sesame seeds and spices for your caldos, we loved it so much we ordered some to go! Highly recommend visiting this place, especially if you like mole!

This place is delicious and I would highly recommend it for breakfast! The chilaquiles were delicious and fresh! It was just the right amount of food as well, not too much, not too little. The coffee was dark and strong. Plus, the restaurant itself was beautiful, airy, and colorful. We went on a Tuesday morning, so it wasn't crowded at all. We will be coming back for sure!

My favorite Mexican food restaurant in Tijuana….Delicious food & best frozen margaritas! Great for vegetarians, there are many options and they are super flexible. my fav are the enchiladas with spinach and mushrooms. Get the flan for dessert!

Delicious green mole and chicken. Nice waiter was patient with us when we didn't know much Spanish. Ask for straw sorry ice cream. It was great and good prices too.

Service excellent. They suggest several traditional dishes, talk to you about surrounding places to go see, very nice atmosphere. Kids welcome.

This restaurant was lovely. A little loud for my ears but I'm use to it. We raza are simply loud. The food was good. Service was good. If in TJ, it's a must go eat there

Still delicious. The guacamole is so fresh and tasty. Huge portions. The BBQ chicken is smokey and tender. Definitely worth the return visit.

Beautiful place, decor is perfect, colorful, pretty plants everywhere. A nice fountain is in the center of the restaurant adding that peaceful vibe to the entire place. The food is delicious, mole poblano is flavorful, consume wa so also delicious, and got a chicken tamal with mole poblena

This place was awesome!!! Parking is adjacent to the property behind a Ramen house that shares the lot with a succulent vendor. You cross the street and walk into a beautiful courtyard that leads up to the.frint door where you sign in. There was a 10 minute wait to he seated as it was slightly busy but waiting in the courtyard was great as it gives you pleasant sense of tranquility.
As you walk in you feel like you are in the Mexican state of Puebla with all of the original decor and set up. Our server was SUPER friendly and professional. With most dishes they offer a complimentary consomé de pollo (chicken broth) which hit the spot as the temperature was on the cooler side. I ordered myself a Chocolate de leche (hot cocoa with milk) you are given the option of having it prepared with milk or water. As an appetizer we had queso fundido con chorizo which was excellent 👌🏼 as a main course I ordered the Molé almendrado con pechuga de pollo (Molé sauce with chicken breast dressed in almond slivers) and it was phenomenal!! They serve it with home made tortillas which give it an additional touch of greatness. Something else I really loved was they bring out a dry Chile Morrita and peanut crushed blend which tasted great! I asked for something with a higher heat level and they brought out another dry mix which consisted of: Chiltepin, and peanuts which was OFF THE CHARTS in flavor. Overall everything was great and I can't wait to go back... BTW it was around $45.00 U.S dollars for three entrees 3 hot Chocolate drinks and an appetizer. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Best place for home style food. All there menu items are delicious. If your near it a must. There is a parking lot that serves them on a side street

Like the restaurant name suggests, the house mole dishes are absolutely delicious with strong choices of mole. Most recommended are chipotle and cilantro mole!

I'll start saying that I'm Mexican and I have tried different items in the menu and all of them are great. Prices are great for the quality of the food. Come here if you are looking for authentic Mexican food and want to try the real deal and pay a fair price. Service is really good and the places offers an authentic atmosphere.

The tortilla soup was awesome an the other food was delicious as well! Our waiter was awesome. I love the whole atmosphere of the place and they had some beautiful instrumental music playing in the background which we truly enjoyed!

Best mole I've had outside of Puebla. Not sure when this place opened but I've been coming here since the mid 90's. I can assure you everything on the menu is good, everything made from scratch, even tortillas, so orders might take a bit longer. Some folks might think menu is limited, but for obvious reasons the name of establishment pretty much emphasizes on what's their specialty. Staff very service oriented. My fave dish is cow tongue with cilantro cream sauce, swiss enchiladas and chicken broth. Parking is limited so valet lot adjacent to restaurant. People with peanut allergies should avoid this place.

Very authentic mole poblano, the chilaquilles were delicious, the service was exceptional and prices very reasonable
