Very nice place, the decorations create a unique atmosphere. Their food is just what I had in mind, something sweet and great drinks.

Yummy and unique flavored drinks, I tried this iced matcha green latte with strawberry jam (very delicious) and pastries are one to try!!☺💋💐 thank you again for the service!! Friendly people! Nice quiet place to grab some coffee, eat a little, and relax a lot! This is not your snobby coffee shop. Time actually stops here, the decor is a bunch of clocks that are not running!!! 👌👌nice touch. At Velvet Cafe one can enjoy coffee and a slice of cake without feeling judged by other people, one of the house specialties is pizza fries 🤯🤯🤪🤪

Yum! Had a Cajeta latte and pan muerto. Delicious! My wife had carrot cake with her Chai latte. The place is nice and the proprietor friendly and quick to serve! I'll add photos. Come by and hang out. The seating is comfy! Cheers!

Cool, dark, eclectic, comfortable, intriguing, lounge type atmosphere...
BUT, with a bit of swagger, rather interesting vibe.
I came too late to eat this time, but the menu looks very tasty and I will be back soon as I am craving the fries...simple maybe, but the description of this comfort food combined with the atmosphere made it so much more appealing. Unfortunately, it's going to be on my mind all night...

I enjoy places where the people are friendly, the food is most likely going to more than satisfying, the coffees are wonderful & where the atmosphere is inviting with a bit of edge.
Just enough European cafe feel that I find rare these days, but that are my favorite types of places to spend time.
Whether to meet new people, meet a group of friends, or just hang out and enjoy good food and coffee, maybe mingle with other locals, Velvet seems to cater to all.
I like the vibe...I appreciate the "9:15" for its uniqueness, but I don't like the actual time as I tend to be a late person. I will need to work on that aspect once I spend more time there for sure...
Hang out at Velvet...you just might like it!

Super cute cafe, especially around Xmas time! We got coffee drinks and a velvet cheesecake. Some other people got food that also looked pretty good. Would definitely come again! Super cute date spot.

If you’re looking for a nice comfortable place to hang out and have amazing coffee drinks great food and tasty deserts- Velvet is the place. I try to stop here every time I’m in Tijuana and never disappoints. Strongly recommend!

I use to live right downstairs from Velvet Cafe.. The nicest ppl ever . So much love in their hearts.. The food was so good and I miss the Kareoke... Definetly will visit again when I return this winter for some cake and some hot tea...

This is a really cozy place to go and enjoy yummy food, particularly more so, desserts. The staff is so nice and the prices are very reasonable. Love this place.
