Very delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. I had pollo con mole(chicken mole, with rice and beans), it came with a gentle clear broth soup with perfectly cooked vegetables. It was outstanding.
Send day I had a carne plater.

This spot in Tijuana is not a grab a quick bite to eat tacos. It has that option, but go and also enjoy drinks and tacos at the restaurant. It's super well known and has been here forever.

This is a cozy place and is highly recommended if you plan to visit Tijuana. They serve authentic Mexican food and beverages. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, willing to make sure that your stay is awesome. The price is also affordable and the place is just near the border. This place is famous in Tijuana so it would be easy for you to locate it even if you will just ask the locals.

This place is an authentic Mexican restaurant. You can get enchiladas, tamales, tacos a vapor, Mexican soups, quesadillas, guacamole, tostadas and much more. They follow COVID-19 safety measures and the personnel are attentive. The pricing is very fair and this restaurant has been around since for over 20 years and brings to life the Mexican folklore. Come with your family, with your friends or with your spouse for a great time. There is even live karaoke singers from time to time.

Amazing service. The waiter never once stopped coming over to see how we were doing on food or drinks. He took care of the business as it should be taken care of. Congrats you guys get 5 stars. Valet too.

If you find yourself in the area, you should pop in for a quick bite. The staff was attentive and nice. They brought out chips, salsas and pickled onions and carrots. We had a late breakfast but were still a little hungry, so were ordered a couple of snacky items. The bean "taco a vapor" was on point and the cheese quesadilla was great.

La Especial truly is muy especial! It was founded almost 70 years ago and has a happy, satisfied clientele. It was my first visit. I loved it. I had a rib eye steak cooked to perfection. The soup and salad were great, as were the rice, beans, and guacamole! And the traditional hot chocolate with dessert was super yummy. I will go back!

Very friendly staff. Asked for broth ( wife had surgery) they knew what to order, even if not in english.

Loved it! Came as a bariatric surgery patient from the U.S. and they treated me very kindly when all I could eat was broth.

My husband had the legitimate food (I made him order it because when in Mexico you just have to) and he raved about it.

The staff was very conscientious about keeping patrons distanced and we saw them cleaning fastidiously between seatings.

Downright outstanding food & service & highly inexpensive. Was totally surprised how much food we got for 2 people for only 220. Must try the chicken red mole & meatballs. Excellent ambiance especially during lunchtime.

fish tacos, shrimp tacos, Marlin tacos, seafood tacos, shrimp cocktail, sea food cocktails, they have the greatest seafood broth ever they been on business for more than 35 years, family own business,. they're located on the street, it's a hot truck they have the greatest caguamanta tacos That's what they are famous for. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. only . I highly recommend this place. you can't come to Tijuana and not eat here. all the rest of the places like this are just copycat's. come try the real flavor of Tijuana Mexico

Their "tacos al vapor" were absolutely Delish! You get 2 tacos, rice and guacamole or beans for about $5. Their Jamaica and Horchata drinks were great! They have Mexican "comfort" food, plus steak if you want. The service e was very good. Can't wait to go back again. ♡

We have been going to this restaurant for 10 yrs, they have always went above and beyond for our family. My husband is on a special diet and our server Felix always accommodates his every need.... I highly recommend this restaurant, they have everthing you need from the best steaks to outstanding enchiladas. The food is fantastic...

We love this restaurant. The food is really good, the prices are low, the atmosphere is very comfortable and the service has always been fabulous. We go regularly and the waiter Felix is our favorite, he’s very professional and attentive to our needs.

Food was delicious but you gotta check your receipt to see if they didn't overcharge you like they did to me.

This place never disappoints been coming here since I was a kid and now I bring my family. The food is amazing and the prices are unbelievable. I drive from San Diego to Tijuana just for the Tacos a vapor. Highly recommend this restaurant.
