Ordered 4 eggs with bread and butter, peppermint tea as well as a cappuccino and a pastry. I speak English and Portuguese but not Spanish, the staff were very helpful and although no one fully spoke the other persons language they accommodated me flawlessly. The food was well prepared and tasty and the cappuccino was on point! The pastry was very light and not too sugary so overall a 5 star experience for me. I also needed my phone charged and didn’t have the plug (just the cable) so the staff were kind enough to find me a wall plug and sit me near the power socket for me to charge my phone comfortable. Lots of smiles great food and service so a great overall experience! Will be back 100%

Came here for breakfast, loved the food, and the carrot cake was amazing, I took a piece to go. Definitely recommend the chilequilles verdes with asada.

It was great! I mean, the waiter, the food, the place itself, it was really nice.
All the areas were clean, staeting from the restroom, to the tables. I really enjoyed that the waiter was constantly asking us if we were fine with our food and if wee needed something else.

The only negativive side, it was that was very crownded... I mean, it is not something bad for the restaurant iself, but overall, that was the only negative side. We were really hunfry and we had to wait like 20 minutes. Plus, the time we waited for our meals to be ready.

Famous breakfast spot here in TJ it competes well with other spots across San Diego I highly recommend ordering the omelette specialties they have

From the hostess to the waiters ( Jose, Luis and Fernando are the best) to the manager (Mr. Jorge) who is very attentive. The staff make you feel like your at home. Great family atmosphere. Exquisite and great variety of mexican and american entrees. With affordable prices and excellent taste. Love it!! I definitely recommend it.

An amazing place to sit, chat and unwind from the outside world. The ambience is very relaxing, not feeling rushed at all. The waiters are very nice and polite. Will come again

You can call and make a reservation, but make sure upon arrival to check in the front to assure your reservation was documented because we had a little hiccup. The food was very tasteful. It has become a tradition for my family to come here once we cross into Mexico. We love the tasteful food and variety. We had the sopes divorciados and chilaquiles de mole and the masa pan latte. I definitely recommend giving these dishes a try.

Expect long waiting times on weekends at this location. Definitely worth the wait though!

I recommend the vegan breakfast and the guacamole for sure. Although there are a few branches of the same restaurant, this one in Plaza Rio always have all items available.
