A small cozy restaurant located in one of the oldest Tijuana's neighborhoods. The service is excellent and super friendly. The food is delicious. Don't forget to try the clam soup, it's great and served in big bowl, nice portion. They have a great variety of wines and drinks. The sangria pitcher was excellent. The selection and quality of coffee is also very good. Reservations are recommended specially on weekends. Open from 9 am for breakfast and untill 10 pm for dinner. Breakfast reservations are also welcome. Credit cards accepted.

Free WiFi, very Bohemia homesc, price are little high for my wallet, @35 seating, located on edge of tough area of town, tamale in banana leaf very gringo safe and flavorful, slightly dry, tasty drinks, very different from the norm, coconut water chocolate served in coconut shell. Incredible, unbelievable taste lasagna, all plates of very high quality, lacking quantity, partial offset price. If quality is number one, this is the place. Live music in the evenings, good service, food served within reasonable time, not very busy. All plates gringo safe, no spicy surprises, but flavor of each plate is surprising, with a group do share a bite of each others plate.

The food is great and the ambient is amazing and very friendly. The place has a rustic theme to it and the food is very tasty and the variety is superb. The hit drinks as well as the cold ones are delicious just like the main dishes and snacks. The wait isn't so much given that you only have to wait around 15 minutes for your scrumptious food.

The food was delicious, but I loved the tiramisu. The place is small but it doesn’t feel like it. The restrooms are not handicap accessible but the entrance is. The experience and the food overcome the fact that the place is not 100% wheelchair accessible. Go prepare to wait in line..

I had the Chipotle Chicken with pasta, wife had Traditional Lasagna, and friend had Chicken Breast in White Wine with Vegetables. The drinks were Turkish Coffee, Summer Red Beverage, White Summer Beverage, Pox which is a Mayan beverage made of Maíz and Chocolate and a Kiwi Strawberry Tea. The desserts were Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream and a Tiramisù that was presented in a Pot. Everything was delicious and the service is one of the best I've ever had. I will definitely continue to come here.

If you like real homage Mexican food this is the spot to eat breakfast . We ordered desayuno a la cabaña it had 2 eggs ( to your liking) we had them over easy, it had cecina (salted thin beef steak, taste really good) , chilaquiles not spicy (we added the house salsa a combination of Chile Serrano, habanero, Chile cascabel added the perfect spicy mess that we love because we are Mexican without slickness it’s not 💯 delicious) the chilaquiles is basically tortilla chips, with a tomato sauce drizzled on top with sour cream and queso cotija and very little onion there’s also the mole chilaquiles is the same thing but instead of tomato sauce it’s mole. It also came with 1 plátano macho which is good if you like it but to me the texture i prefer it fried and crispy it was a little soggy (just not my liking) it’s a sweet banana cooked. It’s also served with homemade beans. Every portion of what is served is small but the whole meal together is just right. The drinks I would recommend to try them we got different types of drinks and some my kids liked and some I didn’t like . So I’m glad we got 1 different drinks to try and ordered more , of the ones we liked. The home made orange juice and the fresh lemonade was delicious. I be liked more the fresh orange juice but everyone has different taste so I just hope you try and if you like spicy like us, don’t forget to ask for the salsa. Enjoy! We haven’t tried dinne there yet, so we can’t judge on that. For 5 full meals and like 14 drinks (because like we said, we where trying the drinks) to see what we like the total was $108.

A piece of Chiapas in Colonia Castillo, Tijuana. Start of with a tascalate, cold for lunch and dinner and hot for breakfast. The tamal de chipilin is incredible. Desayuno de la Cabaña with black refried beans, a piece of tender cesina, eggs and a slice of fried plantain, add some house salsa and you have a perfect breakfast. Don't sleep on their pastas, specially the huitlacoche lasagna.

Yes there could be a wait for this tiny artist enclave. It has been worth the wait.

Riochia7 - a casual coffee shop with great food, a selection of wines and draft beers. Friendly staff. Many with perfect English. Eduardo was terrific.
The seafood pasta had clams, muscles and shrimp. They feature a brewed coffee that is excellent.
Many nice touches make everything a little special - the water had a Rosemary sprig, the thin slices of baguette bread came with an Argentina pesto of olive oil and mild spices, the brownie came with ice cream and a shot of espresso to pour over it. All delicious.

They have two locations one is a rustic comfortable decor on the west side of TJ while the other location is larger with a more modern decor located on the east side of the Tijuana river.

Unfortunately, they are not pet friendly.

It's one of the beast places I have eaten.

Our food was delicious, the coffee(I had a French press) even more so, the beans were grounded right on our table, and it was a really rich coffee...
the desserts looked amazing but unfortunately we didn’t have more space in our stomachs...

My only complaint is that they didn’t have the eggs Benedict available, and that was my first choice, but what I had more than made up for it

We were here on Friday for lunch, really enjoyed the lasagna and the house salad . Our waiter Esau was very attentive and everybody was friendly . We will be back!

Retuned here after being away a very long time. Was as wonderful as i remembered. Great food and service, an eclectic and lovely cafe, and we'll return again soon

I went to this place couple of days ago and I most say that it is great. Very small and cozy, it's a house made restaurant actually. Food there is delicious but a little bit overpriced, but that's because food is made right a the moment, and they use fresh products. you can get wine, a whole variety of coffee. Overall is a nice experience, it's kinda tricky to get there but once you're there it makes the trip in El centro worthwhile .

Riochia 7 is a great place to impress someone with exquisite Mexican cuisine in the morning or very good Italian food later in the afternoon.

The variety of breakfast options and drinks makes you return every time.

A recommendation is to call before to make a reservation to avoid long lines on busy days.

Absolutely amazing place, great food, amazing service, incredible ambiance...just great.

I proposed to my wife here and the staff was very helpful, even kept the place open a bit later than normal for us.
