Birrieria La Guadalajara

Some of the best birria I’ve ever had. The carne and goat birria were both delicious. The tortillas were great, too. Not overly lard-laden, but unhealthy enough to be quite tasty! I really enjoyed everything so much, especially the spicy salsa, which was legitimately quite hot (and I love spicy food). The goat birria was so, so tender—it was almost melting into the broth. If you’re looking for birria in Ensenada, I highly recommend this spot.

Oh my, this place was an absolute treat! This was one of our favorite birria experiences in all of Baja. Their selection of several different types of birria was phenomenal. We had the beef quesobirria and were impressed. We also had a round of drinks. Overall, service was phenomenal.

I was craving some authentic Mexican tacos while we were visiting Ensenada for the day, and this spot did not disappoint. We shared a serving of arrachera and birria (chivo). Tortillas were handmade, and we were provided all the fixings. So delicious!!!

The birria de Borrego is a must try. It's the best one I've ever tried. The cabeza and lengua tacos were good as well.

Came here on a cruise. Normally we go to El Poblano but today we asked 3 locals and they all said here So we have it a shot!
Very good spot if you're coming on a cruise. It's just down the street from where the shuttle drops off. It's got a good selection of Birrias but the cabeza and lengua were my favorites.
Hand made tortillas are always a hit. The waitress was really nice and attentive and there are musicos walking around so you can request you canción.

Cruise ship walking distance close! Looks like locals eat here. Instead of ordering individual tacos (one lamb,one beef, one goat) next time I'll order the small plate of birria meat. Food was excellent and prices reasonable.

Not a local but this place has great food if you are looking for Mexican cuisine in Ensanada. 10/10

Trust the reviews! We had no idea where to grab lunch while ported for the day and the reviews did not lead us astray! Extremely friendly staff, menu in Spanish & English. Check converted to American dollars. Lastly, safe yummy food.

This place is great. We had the quesa birriria beef tacos and a margarita. It was so good and service was excellent! Will be back if ever in Ensenada again!

You never regret coming to this place. One of my highlights of coming to Mexico. If you like carne asada and birria, this is your spot. I’ve been coming for years and this place is truly a highlight. Also, they have local musicians playing at this spot which enhances the experience for this place. This is definitely a 5 stars for the food and experience.

Absolutely spectacular. Service was excellent, food was incredible and the prices are crazy low! Beef Birria was delicious, everything was fresh and full of flavor. Came with multiple plates of fresh veggies for toppings and some really good hot salsa

Amazing spot for truly authentic birria! This is the kind of place I almost don’t want to rate because I don’t want all the other gringos to find it, LOL 😂 This place is local and not touristy, and that’s why it’s amazing!

We tried the goat, the lamb, and the beef. Seriously, they were all amazing! But that lamb a la plancha might make you slap your mama, it’s so good!! I also wish these people would come teach Americans how to make tortillas… seriously, I’d go back just for the tortillas… the amazing birria is icing on the cake.

La birria was delicious! The corn tortillas and salsa are a side staple. Live music 🎶 $100 MX pesos per song for hire. Cozy restaurant near the main strip.

Family style restaurant. Friendly service and good food. The birria was good. The lengua was even better The food comes out very quickly. Wow! We will be coming back

We never had Birria before so I’m not sure what to expect but we ordered the lamb Birria and it was excellent. We really enjoyed the food we ate. I would highly recommend this place. Also a very good price!

They have freshly made corn tortillas, nicely pressed and soft. Best tortillas I've had in a while. Beef birria was great, and there were awesome options for salsas.

I’m visiting birrieria Guadalajara for years food is really good the tripitas plate is so good birria is the best, good service and friendly.

This place has been around forever. The beef Birria is quite good. Especially when you add cheese. Great coffee too.
