My wife knows how much I love Mexican food and I’m blessed to have someone thoughtful enough to take me to what are considered the best tostadas in the world (a Bourdain fact). Anyway they’re all right cause I instantly tasted the mix of flavors in a neatly packed tostada and realized what I had been missing my whole life. It’s not all they have try everything on the half shell if that’s your thing. Everyone must try once in their life kinda place. Thank you.

Holy Jesus, this is the best seafood taco place in the world. You must try at least once in your life. It will change the definition of taco, especially to people think it's weird to have fish in taco instead of meat. Yum 😋 Super recommended. You need to eat it on the street though

This is about a food cart. So keep in mind that you will be standing up eating or sitting down on some dirty stairs or curb.
Having said that, I'd prefer their fresh tuna or octopus ceviche tostadas and seafood cocktails over any sit down restaurant in the world. It's that good. Really.

This is one of the best street sea food stands that I've been in Ensenada. The flavor and combination of different items are right on the spot. Great and friendly service.

I’ll start by declaring that I had the most incredible Tostada experience of my life at this vibrant eatery. Visiting with a group of friends and family, every single person in our party was thoroughly impressed with the dishes they ate.

The unique setup of the eatery invites patrons to gather around the cart and enjoy their meals while standing, creating an energetic and convivial atmosphere. As you savor your Tostada, you can't help but notice the chorus of satisfied diners around you both locals and tourists, all relishing in the freshness and quality of their meals.

My personal favorite was the Singapore Tostada, which truly stood out in terms of flavor and presentation. However, the eatery also offers the option to customize your Tostada with an astounding array of seafood choices, ranging from octopus and scallops to oysters, shrimp and more. It's evident that they take great pride in their selection, and their commitment to freshness and quality shines through in every bite.

Some people may understandably be wary about consuming seafood from a street-side stand; however, let me put those concerns to rest. This remarkable eatery has a nearby restaurant where they store their fresh seafood supplies. This ensures that they can replenish their cart with top-quality ingredients whenever necessary, maintaining the high standards they've set for themselves. Furthermore, I know that some travelers tend to experience digestive issues when eating in Mexico, but I'm happy to report that after my Ensenada trip, I returned home feeling perfectly fine. This speaks volumes about the cleanliness, quality, and care that this establishment puts into its preparations and offerings.

To enhance the experience, patrons can select from a variety of salsas, including the house-made peanut salsa, which I wholeheartedly recommend. It's no surprise that we were drawn back to this remarkable eatery twice during our three-day Ensenada trip - it is simply too good to resist. So, if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and treat your taste buds to an unforgettable Tostada adventure at this lively cart.

Renowned foodie Anthony Bourdain did a whole show on this now-famous street food place. Bourdain said this was some of the best food he's ever had. Hard to argue! I had the mixed ceviche tostada. 35 pesos. And some of the milder toppings. Met mama, Sabina Bandera and 2 of her sons, Luis and Edgar Oviedo. Lots of other family also working this spot and restaurant across the street. Grandma came to Ensenada 48 years ago from Guerrero and has become a legend. I met folks from all over SoCal who said this is a must experience. Some came just to eat here. Que padre. I'll be back!!

We had read a lot of this place and were unsure to stop but we did. Would come back anytime just to eat here! The produce is as fresh as you can find and the flavors highlight the freshness. The jaiba, callo, and octupus was our favorite… until we tried the ceviche one (not pictured). Amazing tuna ceviche! Eddie, son of Sabina is as charming and welcoming as the food. Thank you Eddie!

What a delightful Street Food eatery in downtown Ensenada! How could you go wrong at one of Anthony Bourdain's favorites? Incredible seafood/ceviche tostadas served up by an amazing staff. The happy vibe here among the tourists is palpable. You can purchase one of La Guerrerense's famous sauces, too!

The food was fantastic. Super fresh seafood. The staff was wonderful. They made great recommendations and were super patient explaining what everything was. The only problem is that it's street food, so there is no seating. Although if I was able to sit, I might how ate more. And I was very full already.

Full of delicious sauces, the taste of every plate is absolutely delicious, all the seafood is totally fresh from the waters of Baja California, so this make you the sense of the Mexico natural taste. We tried the tostadas of shrimp and octopus both of them awesome, you need to try them! But the octopus in avocado was my favorite, I never tried nothing like this really. And with a beer I asked for a michelada with clamato, OMG nothing better for a hangover day.
Please please don't lose this place on your visit to Ensenada.

One of my favorite places to visit in Ensenada. I get the almejas(clam cup) cocktail, here they don't mix it with other clams just pismos. Always consistant and very tasty. Service is good and very quick. I first seen this place Anthony Bourdain stopped here so I have been coming here ever since. Only thing missing from the menu is abalone. Enjoy.

Amazing seafood. Doesn't get any more fresh than this. Lived up to all of the hype. You can't really go wrong with any of the choices, unless you don't like seafood. We had the camaron, campechana, and the 2013 world street food winner which consisted of camaron, pulpo and callo. They were all incredible, but the last one was my favorite. Enjoy!

This restaurant is Ensenadas greatest as the great chefs that have been here say it's a five star of a restaurant with affordable prices; Anthony Bourdain to mention one of many great Chefs.

As a Baja 500 aficionado this year decided to go with my family and it was a day I did not feel like cooking at our Airbnb, we had seen trophy trucks, rails, trucks, bugs; a very tiring morning to say least, so we decide to go out to lunch. One of our great friends said that there was a place she had tried a while back and was a great seafood place to eat so we head out to la Guerrerense ...it was 10:15 am a tad early, but Maria asked us to take a seat and they would be right with us as soon they where done setting up to open; restaurant opens at 10:30am and by 10:25 am Maria was explaining everything on menu even specials and off we went. I must say that I was very impressed with this lil cosy place to have lunch w Fam Bam...all we tried was delish and outstanding especially the hot sauces which I had to try close to all of them as I am a fan of salsas "delish" and their most spicy w habanero chile was my fav... thank you Maria for taking the time to explain all the food and salsas that we should put on our food to compliment our tacos and or food to my family. Desserts where to die for as the corn flan was my fav w a cup of cafe de holla so out of this world. In closing I would take any of my Fam Bam and friends to this great place. Once again thank you for a great experience.

I recommend going earlier rather than later in the day as they run out of food fairly quickly. I’ve never seen them completely run out of food but the choices become very limited later in the day. Their tostadas are famous and they do live up to the hype. The service is really quick so I wouldn’t be discouraged by a long line. It is all seafood but they have a good variety, so you can find something for everyone’s taste.

We have heard the story of La Guerrerense being discovered by Anthony Bourdain and blowing up the business. If you want a super fresh and outrageously huge seafood tostada this is the place. Incredibly creative blend of flavors and the freshest morsels from the Humboldt current that feeds the area with its bounty. Always worth the stop. Pricey but worth it for the taste and experience.

Shrimp ceviche tostadas were my favorite. We had 3 ceviches,1 premium tostada and a coke for $10. Awesome food and super fresh, would definitely recommend to anyone stopping at the port.

Second time here and never disappoints, service is excellent, menu is impressive and very fair prices. Gets crowded but they sure are fast in preparing dishes. Sea food is so fresh and delicious and their combinations supreme. A must when visiting Ensenada.

I really wanted to try this because I know how big Anthony Bordain liked this spot in Ensenada. I didn't have much cash so we chose the restaurant instead of the cart. Not too many people yet but it was only 11 am but there were still a decent amount of people in the restaurant.  I ordered a Fish Taco and California Common beer.  The beer had HELLA HELLA salt, a little too much.  The Fish Taco was very good but very simple.  I wish I tried the seafood tostada but I was still full from the other place so didn’t eat too much.
