Palominos Río | Restaurante de cortes

Though it is the "original" Palomino's, I ordered a variety of apps and a bottle of wine. I was there on business and dining alone and hungry! Hit of the night were the Tacos de Pulpo. I would definitely return for those. I'm not a huge fan of octopus, but these were absolutely excellent! They have Malbec wine, which is always a winner for me, so nothing to complain about. Service was excellent, prices seemed fair, and I was happy it was a short walk from my hotel. I have been here before, and they do have excellent steaks.

So much good food!!! Expect to be in a food coma when you leave. The steak is delicious, very juicy and melt in your mouth. This will be pricier than some of the other places in the area but worth it

One of the best places for premium meat in Hermosillo, everything is beautifully cooked and you will have a good moment with the excellent service.

It was not pleasant experience. Our credit card transaction did not go thru. Had to go to bank and withdraw cash and pay.

Food was amazing. Aged beef.....sooo good. They were great with gluten free options. Tamarind margaritas delish. Flan was average. Steamed veggies perfect. Baked potatoes were great. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere. No rail on steps to enter. No ramp for disabled. I would eat there again.......every day.

Wow!! The best steaks in Hermosillo. I would have preferred going to the one located on Boulevard Kino though. It's new, has an easier access and parking, above all, we would've avoided the construction zones around the one located downtown - where we went. Construction zones aside, we had a great time and a wonderful dinner with the finest single malt whiskey and best wines in Hermosillo.

It's wonderful, food is amazing and staff is friendly. It was easy enough to enjoy ourselves even with the language barrier. Would definitely be back.

Delicious food and great service. Very upscale and yet still a good place to relax. I love the music videos! DJ takes requests! Even had a mariachi band!

Excellent service, great food typical from the best beef produced in the Sonora State in Mexico, course you will find good sea food from the neighborhood Sea Of Cortez.

Food is delicious here. Great steak. Good for groups and dates too. Rooftop is nice for a younger crowd and drinks are good. Love coming here.

We dine at the restaurant once a year. This year was a bit off on service but not enough to make us not dine again.

The food was amazing. Highly recommend the ribeye. Service was spot on as well.

There are 3 major contenders in Hermosillo for best restaurant. Palominos is one of them. It’s a very old school hunting lodge feel with a great waitstaff that doesn’t change. The aged ribeye is stellar but my favorite are the beef ribs. Tell Marco I sent you.

Had the specialty, aged marbled ribeye steak, it was delicious. Asked for medium and that's how it came. Delivered on a hot skillet resting in a large (dinner plate size) block of wood.

My husband and I visited Palomino's while in Hermosillo. It was an amazing meal with the best company! The food was very tasty and quite affordable. I am sure we will be back again!

Good food, great service and for as nice as it is prices not over the top. Would go back.
