The best place in Monterey to visit. There are a few activities. Including Park Fundidora and several museums. For less than $10 USD you can take a boat tour.

The boat ride ticket is for round trip, you can start the ride from the park, arrive at the Mexicana history museum and walk around in the Macroplaza. Have some bites in barrio antiguo. There are also a lot of shopping you can do near the Macroplaza. Then in the evening, while all the lights are on and stores along the review are open, while taking the boat tour back you will enjoy the view.

The boat ride was very nice, the captain was very friendly.
The place get very crowded in the afternoon. One day we went around 3PM and the waiting time to get the boat was one hour, we went a couple of days later at 10AM and it was good very fast.

Beautiful, extensive walkways along the canals with coffee shops and restaurants. Dogs allowed! The trees are lit at night making this quite romantic. Boat rides available.

I started out at the west end of the riverwalk, at the fountain of fuente Santa Lucia and walked the entire length, starting around 11am.

It was about 80 degrees by then and the heat can be unpleasant to deal with if you're not used to it. I would recommend to walk early in the morning or sunset, or use an umbrella or hat, as most of the length does not have enough shade and the sun really beats down on you.

The great thing about this place is the amount of birds and wildlife on the riverwalk. Also, at both east and west ends there are stands that sell ice cold juice. I grabbed a Mango at the east end near the waterfall statue for 35 pesos.

You can walk down either side of the river and there are several small bridges that you can use throughout the river to cross to either side. Some pictures on google show the 'Nuevo Leon' sign near the waterfall statue but it's no longer there as of 02/26/23.. still, great place to take pics!

It is know-how the longest artificial river in Latinoamerica with 2.5 kilometers. Also, it is part of the 13 wonderful places created by humans in Mexico. It is a lovely tour, the round trip cost $100 Mexican Pesos (parque fundidora to downtown)

An incredible experience on this tour, it's valsio to do the tour in all ways, on foot and with the boat, it's a beautiful place and on the day I did it, nature helped a lot because the day was beautiful, visiting several places and really enjoying the tour. the smelter park is very beautiful and well maintained.

Amazing place. It’s a must visit both during the day and night it transforms. Very safe. It takes a full day to really enjoy it. Take walking shoes minimum 10000 steps. Lots of great restaurants rich in history, very nice locals. Great safe vibe. Rent a bike , take the barge ride

This is a very nice place for a walk alone or with your family, there are nice places all along the walk, fountains, sculptures and you can also get on small boats. If you visit this place during a hot day, my recommendation would be to go there very early in the morning or in the afternoon becuse it is difficult to find a good shade and in Monterrey the weather can be very hot.

I love this place, that's one of my top 5 places to visit, if you are here for vacations you don't want to miss it you can just take a walk along the river or have a tour on the boat.

Lovely in a boat, lovely walking, lovely during the day and during the night.

You can take a boat at the embarcadero in Parque Fundidora during the day and pay 100 pesos per person. The boat will take you to the Macroplaza, you can get off there, have some early dinner at the Barrio Antiguo and take the trip home during the night, that way you will get to experience daylight and nightime with all the lights. Your ticket is good for both trips. Make sure to be on time on the way back though, as the last boat leaves from the Macroplaza at 7:30 pm.
The boats come every 20-25 minutes.

Beautiful Park to take long and leisurely walks. In the evening there’s lights everywhere and it’s made a pleasant and even romantic atmosphere, highly recommended.

This is a must see/do in Monterrey, whether you’re walking, exercising, reading a book, or taking in the sites and people watching. Sunsets are spectacular from the waterfront walkway.

We went on a stroll with my family. Very well kept. Clean area. Small crowd- covid approved.
It is also ♿ accesible. Some areas could use a bit more rougher terrain so you won't slip going up the ramp. But it was a fun and exciting experience i hadn't shared with my dad!
