Crowne Plaza Monterrey, an IHG Hotel

This is a view from our window on the 15th floor. We stay here at least twice a year for two weeks or longer each time. Great caring staff and awesome buffet breakfast.

My stay here has been nothing short of the most amazing hotel experience I’ve had in my life. The facility is beautiful and super clean. Server like Abigail and Margarita have made me feel so appreciated and they work so hard. I absolutely Love IT here. I forgot to mention the food here is also on another level. The chefs working the stations were super friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. Absolutely awesome dishes

My Family And I spent Christmas Here and I cannot express my satisfaction with this place. The place was very clean, the customer service was first class, the touch they had with the red balloons and Santa Claus was extremely entertaining, the music was great to dance and at the end the champagne was a very nice closing not to mention the variety of food. I highly recommend this place to anyone and I would like to give 10 stars not just five. I congratulate the managers and the employees for the great Work they did.

The hotel is excellent. The rooms need to be remodeled some faucets lick water since they are too old. The water from the shower comes outside... it would be a wait if they let it down. It could be the best hotel in town if they really invest in remodeling the rooms.

We stayed at this hotel for 11 days in June 2019. We loved the service and the location. Everyone was super friendly. The housekeeper Josefina left us a thank you note, that was super sweet. The buffet and live music was amazing. Thank you very much!

Great place for eating with groups of people with some great choice for buffet-style dining. With choices of healthy eating, grilled food, Mexican food and Italian food, among others, most people are going to find something they like. With some decent desserts too and good staff who are attentive when you're looking to have your drinks refilled, there's no real complaints here.

In the city center, walking distance to the micro plaza.
Great breakfast and afternoon snacks for Platinum elite members. Hotel restaurant is great.
The hotel has an indoor pool, a golf simulator with automatic ball tee up.
Tennis anyone? That's right they have an outdoor court.

The pool is not on the ground floor, the view is great. If it is 100 degrees outside you will be in heaven staying here.
The weekend buffet is enjoyed to the sound of live music. The staff are proud of the city & are happy to share the names of many great places to eat or drink. The rooms are comfy & you can drink the tap water in the hotel without worry. If you are not feeling well in your travels this place is ideal for recovery. Workout, enjoy the steam bath or jacuzzi. You decide as you have refreshments in the lounge.
It's a big city & this a great place to start as well as end the day. The big cities in Mexico all have fiber optic high speed internet but this city offers the big three network television from the United States. This city is about big business. Money never sleeps in Monterey.

Very nice security hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast and Family ambient. Near to downtown Monterrey. Cathedral, Barrio antiguo. Morelos Macro Plaza, Paseo de Santa Lucia, Museum's, Palace Governor.

Best seafood buffet ever, I'd priced very reasonable for the quality of the food. The ambiance is calm, relaxed it really gives you time to fully enjoy the place! Everytime I travel to Monterrey I visit the great hotel Crown Plaza. They have live music but it's not loud at all.

I was just amazed with the quality of service. Food buffet was excellent, and all the cooks were so nice all the time I was there.

I would love to have the chance to stay there again.

Loved it, live music most nights, great dinning area, very nice staff, I will miss the staff, they were very friendly and attentive. Laundry service was great, no complaints, was there for 2 months, I want to go back to visit the hotel staff and surrounding areas......

The hotel is in downtown Monterrey, and it is perfect for business meetings, off site meetings/trainings, company town halls, or even company celebrations. Personnel is ready to help and their restaurant serves buffet or á la carte. Only downside is the parking space, that although it is large, it is always scarce and expensive. But if you don't mind that every thing else is great for the price you pay.

We love the rooms and how clean they are, their internet is very reliable, ACs are nice and cold (perfect for the hot mexico days!)
Food is IMO overpriced. I could probably get better breakfast at Vips and its about 1 block away.. but overall I enjoy the experience at this hotel.

Staff was very friendly! I dont speak Spanish but they tried their best to work with me! Wifi is fast, everyone is friendly, room was cleaned everyday! There on a business trip from the USA and I WILL be staying here again!

We are locals to Monterrey who frequent the lunch buffet. I can say I feel they deliver a consistent experience. It's a "made upon request" sort of buffet, in which only some plates are ready made where most of the goods stuff you have to order and it's made on the spot, such as pasta, grilled cuts of beef (t-bone and ahuja norteña), as well as smoothies and crepes. They also have Mexican dishes such as enchiladas and sopes.
The variety is not as abundant but the taste and quality of the ingredients is excellent.
I feel this is the best value for money around town.

I think that this hotel has a great service and location. The buffet breakfast was served at 6 am so I had a very good time to eat before my work commitments.

Building and rooms shows some aging but overall it is a very good experience. I was very happy with my stay here.
