This is still a great place for "carnitas". Great service! Portions were good, and we enjoyed returning after many years.

This is a very Mexican restaurant. Buying carnitas here is the best, and the greatest thing is that you get served tortilla chips with beans prior to your meal. I definitely recommend getting the personal order as two people can easily eat and be satisfied. The bathrooms are usually clean but it's always crowded so if you're going to be drinking a lot of liquids be sure to be prepared for this. The coffee served there is very good and the great thing is that you get a refill. The tortillas are made there on the spot. I definitely recommend eating here with your family because you can also get other meals that aren't just related to carnitas which is great. Definitely a five out of five stars for me experience. Update Feb: flan of the Gods!

OMG! I was looking for a good breakfast near our AirBnb and this appeared to be near by! The reviews were great and we were NOT disappointed. We never tired their famous carnitas but had their pancakes, chilaquiles, chiles and so much more! Everything was PHENOMENAL including their fresh orange juice and their fresh limeade. I highly recommend this place!

The food is great. Their chicharon is always fresh! People are friendly and nice. Restrooms are clean, too!

The best Carnitas, beans and fried chicarones ever! We will forever stop at this place whenever driving to or from Rosarito! I'm in love with the beans and they're unlimited refills when you buy any amount of carnitas.

The only bad part of it yup I do can pay 500 for 1 pound of carnitas and a beer for that we paid 600 plus we left 100 pesos of tip. even though I think it's to expensive yup it's GD but 1 pound for 500 yup they gave us the cilantro onions and some refried beans and yup hand made tortillas... Unreachable for some other person I don't know because it was Sunday it was that expensive ooh yeah and it was my wife and me only

I have become a regular client. Love there carnitas. But most of all there breakfast is always the bomb. I always change my orders to my special needs and with no problems it’s made. The waiters there make the place. Thank you Mone and Shorty.

Been coming here since I was a little kid and it was a small hole in the wall place my dad loved. We have seen it grow pretty big in the past 30-35 years but the taste is still amazing. Handmade tortillas, excellent carnitas and very affordable prices. Easy to miss if you are driving towards Rosarito or Ensenada but worth the stop.

Ask for Chorejas, he is very friendly, also the hot sauce early in the AM is to die for, too bad they only make 1 batch daily

I New the original owners, now their kids run the place, the flavor and atmosphere has not changed, we now buy a large bowl of refried beans and the molcajete hand made salsa, said salads is all gone by noon, BUY EARLY,

Every time I go camping we stop at los PANCHOS. We use to stop on our way camping when mom & dad were alive & us we were little kids. now we continuing the tradition. I stop to eat. Carnitas taste awesome & great prices. They have been in business 70yrs.

This place is definitely a "go-to" for carnitas. Everything was excellent including the frijoles which are cooked with manteca. Service was good and the place is clean and taking covid precautions. It's set back on the north side of the free road going into Rosarito. Easy to pass if you are not paying attention.

Delicious carnitas and amazing mineral lemonade

Lots of good things here. Specialty carnitas. Wife had carnitas tacos. I had chile rellanos. Nest time ill get the 1 kilos carnitas to go.

Loved this placed. We went for lunch and got so full we cancelled dinner...lol. The Carnitas were Soo good. The wait staff were very attentive.
