I’d like to start by saying that the staff is excellent the doctor is excellent the facility prides itself on extreme cleanliness and sterile facility .
A few years ago, I clipped the end off my finger with a power saw. I have several doctor, friends, and one of them cauterized the end of the finger with the bone, exposed and wrapped it up to give me time to decide what to do. I own a place in Rosarita to get out of the heat of Phoenix in the summer and was heading there the next day after the accident. I went to Genesis to have the Dr. look at it and he had me in the operating room within a couple hours. Did an amazing job of which my surgeon friends in Phoenix were extremely impressed.
So when I hit 70 it came time for me to think About getting a neck, tightening or , what you might call a lower facelift there was nobody I had considered other than Dr Gongora.
He did an amazing job at keeping a natural look being a guy that was very important. Only five weeks later my golfing buddies and close friends had no idea I had it done which was my goal. I didn’t tell anybody and nobody can tell that I had it done due to the excellent work that Dr Gongora did.
I can afford to go anywhere and have a good friend that is a plastic surgeon who will be at my annual Christmas party in 3 weeks and my daughter is coming in town for Christmas. I don’t think they will realize either.
I want to also say that a dear girl friend of mine Had a Neck Lyft by a well-known plastic surgeon in Phoenix that went horribly wrong with a suture, virtually choking her she spent 2 1/2 years sleeping upright because she couldn’t lay down . That surgeon wouldn’t do anything and no other surgeon would touch his work or someone else’s work. I brought her to Mexico, which is the only place that would try to help her and ultimately solve the problem by finding the sutures on the side of her neck and cutting them. So I don’t look at necessarily US surgeons as more trustworthy.
Also the medical board did nothing to help. She was former law enforcement so was no light weight.
I do my dental surgery in Mexico also with great success.

I have had two procedures performed by Dr. Gongora and the Genesis team and I am in the process of coordinating a third! I would not go anywhere else simply because there is no better surgeon out there. I can't express enough how thrilled I am with the results of my procedures. From the moment I contacted the patient coordinator Jessica, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that immediately put me at ease. Jessica provided me with all of the information I needed to make an informed decision about my procedure.

Both surgeries went fantastic, and Dr. Gongora's expertise was evident at every step. The results have exceeded my expectations.

I can't say enough great things about the care that I received. The entire Genesis team provided exceptional follow-up care, ensuring that my recovery was as comfortable as possible. They were always available to answer my questions and address any concerns I had. Dr. Roa the anesthesiologist is also very compassionate and caring and went out of his way to put my mind at ease prior to my procedures.

I highly recommend Dr. Gongora to anyone considering plastic surgery. He is a true artist in his field, and his dedication to patient satisfaction is truly commendable. I can say with all honesty that it would be a mistake to go anywhere else. Dr. Gongora is the one to choose.

Had my surgery with Dr. Góngora back in February. I am so happy with my results. He has an amazing team of nurses that really took care of me along the way. And the girls at the reception desk will always answer calls and reply to messages. Everyone is so friendly and caring. Highly recommend!

I had my surgery two months ago with Genesis Clinic and I have to thank the incredible staff for taking such good care of me during my stay there. Everyone was very welcoming and professional. Yolanda and the other women at Reception were very welcoming and greeted me with a smile all the time. The nurses are extremely clean, sanitary and maintained every corner of that clinic in immaculate shape. You can tell that all the staff genuinely cares for their patients as there was not a moment where i felt alone or unattended. Jacky, Karen, and Anel were extremely professional during my post operative care and when I had to receive my sanitary showers. When it came to all my post operative massages, Janice was the one who really took care of me. I didn't have to deal with nasty hospital food because they have an in house chef/dietician that catered to my diet needs recommended by the nutritionist. (the salmon was the best I've had in a while!!)
Post care is normally 1 day but I chose to stay for the week and i'd happily do it again! Overall, this medical team is the best there is. This establishment is definitely worth every penny :)

Reception: the most friendly, loving and helpful group of girls,

Nurses and supporting doctors: highly knowledgeable, capable and always ready to assist you 24/7, they are also very friendly and caring

Dr Góngora: he is super talented and yet very humble, any time he is talking to you, he makes you feel like you are the only person in the world, always up to date with the newest techniques and the results are amazing! He will strive to give you the best results possible while maintaining your well-being as top priority.

I underwent surgery about 2 weeks ago at Genesis Clinic and I couldn't have been happier with my decision. The staff there is amazing, the nurses took such good care of me and were so attentive. Dr. Góngora and his staff make you feel so comfortable along the way.

I am absolutely in love with this place! Dr. Gongora and his staff are awesome. I am in love with my results this far. Dr. Gongora has a great eye for knowing exactly what you need and fits with your body. He is an artist. In addition, his staff was fabulous. They were professional, caring, and attentive! Specifically, I would say the nurses that I remember names for is Jackie, Maria, Karen, and many more. The front staff is awesome as well. The place is amazing. I love how sanitary the place is and how cautious Dr. Gongora and his staff are especially during these difficult times. I also had the pleasure to meet Patty (from the spa) who is also amazing. Unfortunately due to the distance, I am not able to attend weekly massages with her, but do recommend! Most importantly, they respond to your questions when you have any concerns from beginning to end, specifically during recovery. My biggest fear was that they will not respond or care for me once they completed my surgery. But this was not the case here and I am glad for that. You hear horror stories of girls not being able to communicate with their doctors after, but not here. They contact you, respond, and do follow-up appointments to make sure you properly heal. I knew from the start this was the place and doctor for me. I went to 2 other doctors for other consultations, but something inside me said no, until I meet with Dr. Gongora. I knew he was my doctor. I highly recommend him to anyone, especially family.

When I started looking into Dr Gongora I IMMEDIATELY knew he was the doctor I wanted. He was experienced, board certified, his work was natural, he was safe. I especially loved how much attention he paid to the details of things, which showed me his personality and you cannot teach a person those kinds of things. For example- His office is FILLED with art. I wanted my plastic surgeon to be into art because- they themselves are performing a form of art. He requires all of his staff to wear the same color scrubs every day, and it changes every day. It shows he likes organization, order, and it looks good. All of these things are things people don't always notice or pay attention to, but I do.
Aside from those details, Dr. Gongora's actual work, his before and afters are very consistent. He doesn't have pictures of people standing up in the before, and then laying down in the afters. He doesn't have them without make-up in the before, and then dolled up in the afters. He makes it consistent and that is also very important. I learned in the process of getting my procedure that Dr. Gongora himself takes the photos so he can show and appreciate the results. I highly value him for that.
Long story short. I looked into many many doctors in mexico, because as I was scared and thought having surgery in a different county was crazy. Dr. Gongora and his staff made me feel very comfortable.Even though not all of them speak english (I don't speak spanish), they always will try and help you. They will ALWAYS pick up the phone. I read reviews from patients of other doctors who had a hard time getting hold of the clinic after they came back to the US post-op. I was scared that would happen so I tried and called them from different numbers at all times, morning, evenings, weekends, etc just to see if i ever had a hard time contacting them, and no they picked up EVERY SINGLE TIME. I also opted to stay at his clinic for 5 days after surgery which i HIGHLY recommend. I know someone who did not stay and ended up having a lot of complications because she wasn't able to take care of herself as well as they can when you stay.
One thing I will note is that when I started this journey I thought I could get away with just Lipo and not get a Tummy Tuck. Dr. Gongora explained to me that he would not just do Lipo on me, and in fact he recommended a Circumferential Tummy Tuck, which means it would go all the way around. I was initially horrified, and wanted to find another doctor who could just do lipo. After EXTENSIVE research (Trust me, I literally do medical research for a living) I agreed with Dr. Gongora. If I only got lipo, I would not be happy, I would have a lot of skin left over. I watched a recorded lecture Dr. Gongora gave where he had a slide that said patients will not care about the scar because they will be so happy with the results. I was skeptical but I am very happy I went it. My results are AMAZING. I cannot believe the difference when I look at my pictures.
I also want to commend the anesthesiologist that works there Dr. Agustin Roa. He is also board certified and he was amazing. In mexico, I read that it is more common for them to do epidurals for these types of surgeries than general anesthesia. I was scared of this because I read that some people wake up, and I did not want that to happen with me. I spoked to Dr. Roa and he explained to me that they do a combination, and so you're asleep but it's not general anesthesia and then they do the epidural. I did not have to see or feel the needle- which was another concern of mine. It literally was a snap of a finger. I woke up and I thought they didn't do the procedure yet- I was so confused.
I cannot recommend Genesis clinic enough. I came back for a second procedure and I have also referred 4-5 friends and my BF also went to Genesis for the gastric sleeve, and he was initially against surgery in another country, but now he said he only wants to go to Genesis clinic for his skin removal when he loses all the weight!

I loved my experience here!!! First of all, the staff, nurses and doctor Góngora himself was amazing! They took really good care of me. They check you like twice before going into surgery to make sure your fine. You can honestly tell they care about their patients and it’s not just for the money. I said I wanted something natural and that’s exactly what I got! :) I am sooo happy with my results and experience! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

I had cosmetic surgery in Southern CA about 15 years ago, and I went to Dr. Góngora for repair because I wasn't happy with the results, and I've never gone with anyone else after that. I'm now 55 years old, and my last surgery included breast reduction and eyelid surgery. I love the results! Dr. Góngora is the very best, and I would not trust my body with any other surgeon in the U.S. or Mexico.

Very pleasant experience, Dr. Gongora and his staff are very professional and well prepared, coming out of Chemo and radiations, I was a little hesitant to do my procedure, but Dr. Gongora gave me the confidence to do it and made me feel very good.
