Awesome experience with a great interior that has tons of plants and little water features. Breakfast was really good with plenty of option and good drinks. I’d recommend the beef with quail eggs and the green juice which tasted super fresh.

El Nido is a phenomenal place for a romantic dinner right in Downtown Rosarito! They have plants and all over and in the back there is alfresco dining with beautiful waterfalls.
Their steaks are amazing and cooked in the front of the restaurant by the bar so you can see them cooking your meal. The lamb is the best I’ve had all over the world. It melts in your mouth and is cooked to perfection! Their salad included with dinner has a quail egg and the best homemade dressing. This is always my first stop for dinner.
Pro Tip: if you go on off hours ask to see the 100+ year old wine cellar. It’s so phenomenal to see! Check out my video below. Great prices. Super friendly staff and always the best food in town.
Free parking around the corner and a cool mercado a few shop down that opens up a huge outdoor market.
They also have phenomenal breakfasts!

I've been going to this place since I was 4 ,I'm 45 now the food is superb ,the flour tortillas are to die for ,for breakfast I get the omelette with ham & cheese,for dinner eve do it's a steakhouse mostly ,I go for the garlic fish and the bean soup is wow ,just be sure to add the cilantro & onion on it

The restaurant is so beautiful with all the green plants. The hot cakes/pancakes were delicious! So fresh and had lots of flavor. I asked for both eggs and bacon. The bacon was a generous amount. Their handmade tortillas were so soft and yummy! They had such great service. I would not recommend the French toast though.

Rustic and jungle motif... You will love the ambiance, the food and excellent service.. my friend and I enjoyed breakfast. Me?? The breakfast steak and eggs. The steak was cooked as ordered. Medium rare. Cooked perfectly and tender. We sat next to the hand made Tortilla station.
Fresh food is not just an advertising ploy..

We walked by at first and there was a long line. Decided to wait it out. It was worth it. The atmosphere alone is amazing. They do have space for large groups- two parties of 10+ sat near us. Lots of options. Menus in both Spanish and English. We ordered lunch, but the breakfast menu looked pretty good as well. Our food was really good. My drink was super - cucumber margarita.

The place was gorgeous I loved their decorations and the whole vibe! Their staff was polite and friendly. The food was great and prices are decent.

We had dinner there just before Christmas 2023. The menu isn't vast but quite varied, we enjoyed quail and lamb cooked to order. We hadn't seen either on any menu previously. It's a beautiful place with covered outdoor seating draped in large, mature tropical plants and elephant ears with fires burning for warmth and ambience. Highly recommended.

Fresh, homemade tortillas, awesome atmosphere, authentic Mexican food and drinks! The customer service was excellent with everyone being so friendly and accommodating. A bunch of us ordered the deer machaca with quail eggs and it was delicious. I would bring my friends and family back here when we're in town.

Excellent service and food at very reasonable prices. Went for breakfast with a party of 10 and they sat us down with a 30 min wait. We had a variety of dishes from machaca, to chilaquiles, which we're all tasty and wonderful flavor. The interior of the restaurant was very pretty! Very green and lots of plants everywhere. Has a greenery theme. There was a lady making fresh tortillas. Would return for dinner.

If you looking for some authentic Mexican food !! You got to give this place a try . I’m from Phoenix Arizona and it’s one of my first stops when ever I’m down here ! And please take care of people that are serving you .. service and quality are 100

I have been here multiple times and I really like the atmosphere and the food. I usually order spicy octopus, calamari, combination plate, bones, salmon wellington and of course the ceaser salad. Everything is well cooked and prepped. If you are in TJ this place is a mist visit.

El nido es un lugar muy interesante tiene muchas cosas antiguas parece un museo la comida es deliciosa. El servicio es excelente. Es un poco difícil estacionarse ahí enfrente Lo mejor es dejar el carro en el hotel y caminar al restaurante
