Muy facil la entrada, sin problemas, los beliceños son tranquilos pero se creen mas que los mexicanos por hablar ingles. Para regresar a mexico hay que rodear por detras de santa elena.

Tourist tax around ~700 Pessos
This is absurd price

The immigration officer was rude and impolite. He definitely needs to be kicked out of the profession.

I entered from Belize and the arrived around 6pm here. The officer said I need to pay the tax and the card machine was not working . The bank next to here was also closed. So he advised me to visit another bank and pay there directly. But he was horrible in diving directions and was confusing me all the time.

Finally I decided to stay there and pay the next morning at the bank next to here.

Later the officer checked the system and I could pay the tax and enter. The time was around 8pm .

I’m still in shock with the tourists tax and it’s really absurd.

Touristensteuer kostet, 687 MXN. Falls ihr weniger als 7 Tage in Mexiko bleibt, müsst ihr diese Steuer nicht zahlen.

Die schlechte Bewertung gibts, weil die Frau ewig lange brauchte, obwohl wir die einzigen Leute bei diesem Sekretariat waren. Zahlen mit der Karte war dann Vorort nicht möglich. Ich musste dann bei der Aduana bezahlen, wo die Frau 15 Minuten lang mit jemanden telefoniert hat. Zurück beim Sekretariat ging’s dann noch mal 20 Minuten bis sie im Computer alles eingetippt hat und wir konnten los.

Direkt nach der Grenze warten schon die Taxis. Ein Banjercito ATM mit einer niedrigen Abhebegebühr von 18,56 MXN gibts auch nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt.
