Hotel Lucerna Mexicali

The best choice to stay in Mexicali. Excellent customer service, free parking, private security, and a great selection of food options on the premises, makes Lucerna an excellent experience. Highly recommended!

Great room. Be sure to upgrade and get the breakfast buffet. The Italian restaurant on premises is world class.

Was recommended by a friend that this place was a trustworthy place to stay in Mexicali and let me tell you it was more than I expected. The whole staff was friendly and courteous, and made us feel welcomed. I cannot recall the name of the staff that helped us take out luggage to our room, but we appreciate his help and guidance of the services they provide, etc. The room was very nice and comfortable plus the shower had amazing water pressure. 🥰
The hotel has very beautiful decorations and the pools look very clean and fun. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy much of the amenities since we we out all day, but definitely want to come back and enjoy their restaurants and pools.
We did have a drink from Terrazas and they did not disappoint. Thanks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went there with friends. We booked the bungalows and they were great! The rooms were very clean and nice looking. My wife and I were very impressed. The pool could be bigger and have more shade. The staff was super kind and friendly. Continental breakfast was great, which was included with the bungalows. They had live entertainment at one of the bars Thursday night. They were pretty good but disappointed they didn't sing any Spanish songs even though we kept asking. We are in Mexico!! But our stay was very comfortable and the service by all the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this place.

After a few weeks of off road travel on my dirt bike, I found this amazing hotel the night before i crossed the border back into CA. My experience was very positive from start to finish. My check in experience was very smooth and professional. The rooms were super clean and modern. The linens and bed were as good as it gets. I ate at the bar and enjoyed live music and had a great wagyu burger. Room service breakfast was on point and substantial. All in all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a more upscale option when visiting or passing through Mexicali. I hope to visit this city a little more extensively next time.

This hotel is so beautiful! I mean absolutely gorgeous! They have great food and multiple dining options. The staff all-around is extremely nice. I would highly recommend this place and I'll be excited to return next time I'm in the area.

A lovely Oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Mexicali while still being conveniently located in the middle of town. It feels like a completely different world. The staff (Alejendra, Francisco, Alberto, and Denny) were all friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is laid back and chill.

Great customer service all around! The rooms were very comfortable. The pool area and entire hotel was very inviting and comfortable. Great family vacation getaway!

The staff was super friendly! As soon as we got here there was someone helping us with out bags and showing us the way to our room. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom as well. Ordered room service and it was here within 15 min! :) had breakfast in the morning at their buffet and they had a wide variety of food and it was great! Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We were there for a family funeral on 8-31-22 and 9-1-22 I can't express the great service we got from the whole staff Said and Francisco were very helpful with us. Thank you so much. The place was clean and very nice. Keep it up . Plan on returning in a few months.

Really good place clean and organized and the price is really acceptable

I was on a family trip with my disabled dad. He has a hard time walking due to his Parkinson. As soon as I walked with him to the lobby, the staff literary jump to assist us. They provided a first floor room with easy access. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the ambiance is top notch. The rooms are spacious and the cleaning staff is very attentive to your needs. The parking is free and they have 24/7 security in the parking lot. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was cold. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food absolutely delicious. I have stayed in hotels all over the USA as well as Europe and Hotel Lucerna is on par with the finest Hotels of the world. If you are going for business or pleasure, this is a fantastic Hotel to stay.

Great experience! The staff is very attentive. Made me feel very welcome they are very polite. Hugo our bellboy was very nice and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable.

The hotel itself has his modern Mexican aesthetic. I definitely recommend this place and can't wait to come back in the summer and jump in that pool!

By far the best hotel ever!! The staff!! No words to express how wonderful!! From the front desk Alejandro to bell hop Pancho, Antonio, Donato, Saúl, Hugo, house keeper Maria, to the security guard Gerardo!! They make you feel welcomed like your at home! I have been coming to Mexicali to visit family for years and I will always stay at Lucerna!! I recently had surgery and I stayed here at lucerna for my surgery a week and I can’t stop say how wonderful it was!! Great room service!! Truly best hotel!!

Spent two nights and wished for more time at hotel. Staff are great! Front desk, bell hop, bartender, and housekeeping were friendly and helpful! Pool is 8 1/2 feet deep and is perfect for diving in. Definitely staying here again!

Love it!!! Safe place to stay with your family. Children have fun at the pool. Delicious food the parking is safe at any hour and the personal always taking care of you. 100% recommended.

We always stay at Hotel Lucerna when we visit Mexicali. The hotel is well maintained, the service is excellent, and the food is outstanding. The staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is handicap accessible and the security and bell service were immediately available upon our arrival to direct us to handicap parking and assist with my elderly mother-in-law who uses a walker. Our trip was during the winter, which is mild in Mexicali, but heating in the room worked very well at night. The room service was timely and there were several menu selections to choose from. It was always nice to come back to our room each evening which was cleaned daily. The exercise machines in the fitness room were serviceable and available, which we used each day. The Los Portales restaurant offers buffet or plate service prepared and managed by either a Cuisine or Executive Chef; the food is excellent Mexican (and some American) cuisine. Hotel Lucerna maintains it's tradition as the best hotel in Mexicali, whether your travel is for business or for leisure.

This Place is super nice we had a poolside room next to the Italian restaurant, were not able to go in because of our schedule but from looking in the window, the wait staff is very attentive! We did go to the breakfast buffet and it was delicious, beautiful setting and the waitresses were very friendly and attractive!

It was a nice experience. Love your garden areas by the swimming pool were peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast buffet was excellent!
