I am travelling with a friend by car across Mexico. We found El Mayab by chance and had the best breakfast both of us had in our entire trip. I especially recommend Huevos Motuleños for 50 pesos. They are very tasty and filling and come with fried platanos amongst other things. It's a family owned restaurant with very friendly staff, WiFi, air conditioning. The food is delicious and good size and the prices are affordable.

The best breakfast I've had in Mexico, without a doubt. I've been in Mexico for two months, travelling from north to south. Visited the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Jalisco, Mexico, Puebla, Oaxaca and Chiapas. So I've tried quite a few breakfasts! My friend, who's been travelling with me, also agrees with me. If you are looking for a fancy place you won't quite like it. But if you are looking for a tasty breakfast and want to eat where locals eat, don't hesitate to come to El Mayab.

Comida casera, menus completos de mediodia por 80Mxn. La dueña es autentica, amable y te atendera con una sonrisa, si algo del menu no te convence ella te lo soluciona. Raciones tan grandes que no vas a necesitar comer en las proximas horas. Busca cobijo a la sombra luego para reposar la cantidad de comida que te van a ofrecer. Y prueba los jugos de limon, porque son autenticos. Dejaras propina y te iras feliz.
