Mr Charles River View Lodge

A beautiful place a bit out of town. The daughter of mr Charles and the staff are incredibly friendly and motivated to make your stay as nice and convenient as possible. I stayed 2 nights the first time, changed my plans a bit, came back to stay 2 more nights. The best sleep I had in a long time. Thanks again to Mr Charles and his family.

The location of river view lodge is on the bank of Dokhtawaddy river, inside the Shan Village Nauk Gad and half an hour away from downtown. It is a nice quiet place with beautiful river view at the front and paddy fields at the back. The breakfast is delicious prepared by nice friendly staffs. I had dinner at the hotel yesterday and also breakfast are the best I have ever tasted in kinda budget hotel like here.The rooms are quite cute with decoration and can enjoy the milky way over sky at night. Love to stay there and want to come back :)

River Front View is awesome and tranquil rural setting is unique.

The presence of the owner and the local youth being engaged in providing services is the highlight of the place
Though the approach is little difficult, yet the location in the paddy field, next to the river and the backdrop of the hills make it extraordinary
Being the first Indian family visitors, we were looked after very well and a lot of culture is very familiar
The day river journey with stopover for lunch at the village is an unique experience
Psipaw with the River Lodge combination demands 4 night minimum

Beautiful property. We spent very little time here unfortunately. But it is beautiful. Certainty worth the stay.

Très jolis bungalows au bord de la rivière, accessibles en 10min depuis Hsipaw en traversant un paysage paradisiaque de rizières et petit hameau à vélo (compris avec la chambre). Mr Charles s'asseyait en fin de repas à notre table pour discuter. C'est un livre vivant de la région. Tout le personnel est très sympa, y compris notre guide du treck de 2 jours dans un village de montagne splendide. Cuisine végétarienne simple mais de grande qualité au village du treck.

Ein traumhafter Ort nur zu empfehlen... Herzliches, aufmerksames Team, ruhig wunderschöne Bungalows mit Terrasse und Flussblick (jedes!!), kostenloses shuttle ins Städchen Hsipaw, zu Fuss ca. 45 Min. über reizende Dörfer... Das idyllischste Ressort bis jetzt auf unserer Myanmarreise.... Ein Ort zum Ausspannen, Geniessen...

Lloc súper tranquil, al costat del riu allunyat del soroll del poble. Una mica apartat però et proporcionen transport. Personal súper atent i amable!

Einfach super, kann man nur weiterempfehlen. Direkt am River, super Service, schöne Bungalows.
