Nan Ayar Inn

WONDERFUL guest house, and absolutely worth staying here!! My favorite in Myanmar. Local prices, clean, exceptionally kind owners who are a blast to chat with and will give you great local advice (speak awesome English), a good mix of travelers from all different parts of the world... Not just westerners! The WIFI is also top notch. Such a blast, would recommend this guest house to every authentic/budget traveler. Perfect location as well. Food, nice lake nearby, downtown just across the foot bridge. Quiet neighborhood but so close to the action! Like staying with your auntie and uncle. Loved it here.

Peaceful place, convenient rooms. Good atmosphere.

Staff did not speak english but were very nice. We paid 25k for a twin room with bathroom and hot water. A bit old, not specially clean but not more dirty than the standards in myanmar. The cheapest hotel had no room and this is the cheapest we found after. We had a simple breakfast included and could borrow a couple bikes for free. Also they would let us checkout at 2 pm. Globally nothing really special but a nice experience.

Hôtel à fuir ! Je déconseille de séjourner dans cet hôtel puisque les propriétaires ne sont pas du tout commodes (voir agressifs) et ne parles pas anglais. Certes c’est un vieil hôtel comme beaucoup au Myanmar mais le ménage a complètement été oublié dans notre chambre. Les prix sont « élevés » si on considère les prix du Myanmar et des hôtels à Loikaw (qui sont bien plus propres et qualitatifs).
