Nosy Lodge

Really good food at reasonable prices. Nice restaurant setting next to the pool and on the beach. Rooms might be a bit hit and miss. It's was a family duplex with a nice verandah in the front but bordering the parking lot in the back where the children were sleeping. Overall good price quality though

Where should I start with this place? How about the location, it was a very easy ride from the airport, typical Madagascar roads. If you need an ATM or supermarket, the front desk staff is happy to call a TukTuk (taxi) for you. The trip takes about ten minutes one way and the ATM is in an enclosed room with onsite security, so no need to worry. Our driver waited for us to shop for groceries as we needed.

The staff. All wonderful, friendly and accommodating people. I did get a little bit of grief for not practicing my French when ordering my food but it was all in good fun.

The food. The menu is a bit limited but everything we had was excellent. We sent back clean plates every time.

The rooms. Simple brutalist design, concrete everything with small touches of wood to soften the overall vibe. This design allows for super clean rooms and no black mildew in the corners of the shower which is typical of grouted tile. My only complaint here is that our room had the toilet downstairs and the shower and sink upstairs which was a little strange but not a big deal.

The pool. I didn't swim in the pool but the grounds staff cleaned it diligently everyday.

Other stuff. The AC worked well enough, there are shutters in all rooms that definitely allow mosquito infiltration but the nets worked well. The power went out a few times, bring a flashlight just in case.

Overall, each of the five stars were easily earned.

Awesome time spent at this hotel. Quite spacious rooms, great view of the beach, daily room cleaning, very good staff and owner. New daily menu in the restaurant with unbelievably tasty food.
Bring cash no credit card or debit card accepted, few ATM machines in the city/town. English communication very limited.

I went here everyday so far since coming to nosy be. Great place to hangout with friends, watch some sports and have a beer. Atmosphere is fantastic with a beautiful pool as direct acess to the beach and amazing views out front. Sit on the ledge by the beach under the stars and have a classic three horses beer. Cannot beat this place.

Great place for peaceful vacation. Garden with look at the ocean, peace, freedom, tasty food, time is running much slower in here. If you have a choice pick up room with the view at the ocean. It's much cooler in those rooms, ocean breeze gets inside, you can here sound of the waves. Rooms are clean, decorated with taste. Each evening house keepers put mosquito nets arround the bed. Whole hotel is neat, clean, cosy, carried with the heart. Stuff is very nice both in the restaurant as well as at the reception desk. Ladies at the reception desk will help you to arrange whatever you need (comes in handy specially when you don't speak French): trip to the other village, shopping, tours. Exchange for Euro quite gainful.

I had a wonderful time staying here for 3 days. Everything was perfect. The pool did look like it needed attention though.

It is one of the best spot in the area. The pictures you've seen out there don't lie.

Nous étions vraiment heureux de rester ici. Nous avons passé une belle semaine en famille. Le personnel et tout le reste étaient super. J'espère vous revoir cette année

Lugar estupendo como base para bucear. Centro de buceo justo al lado. Servicio correcto, luz (normalmente) las 24h, habitación amplia, camas con mosquitera. Servicio de restaurante bien surtido. Ojo si cambiáis en recepción, tanto por el tipo de cambio, como porque aplican peor cambio a los billetes pequeños de menos de 50€.

Une merveilleuse expérience au son de l’océan ; le Nosy Lodge est un cocon en bord de mer … niché dans un écrin de verdure. Le personnel y est trés agréable et accueillant. Le service de restauration est excellent ; service rapide ; et propose des plats locaux.
Les chambres sont belles propres et au design épuré. Je reviendrai !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.
Tout le personnel est très gentil.
La restauration du petit-déjeuner au dîner est très bien, voir excellent.
La chambre propre et bien pensée pour ses hôtes.
La piscine aussi, avec aquagym proposé.
Les masseuses au top.
Tout est très bien organisé, excursion, réservation taxi et touk touk pour balade.
Transfert de l’aéroport à l’hôtel et de l’hôtel vers l’aéroport sont tout organisé.
Je vous recommande cet établissement.

Établissement en bord de plage avec très belle piscine, une bonne table tous les jours menu différent, chambres au top, massages au top, personnel au top! Clubs de plongée à côté, tranquille pas de bruit. Bref j’y retourne dès que possible! Et cours d’aquagym pour les filles🥳🫶🏻💪

Najlepszy stosunek oferty do ceny. Świetna lokalizacja tuż przy plaży i centrum nurkowego, doskonała restauracja z posiłkami z świeżych składników, codziennie czyszczony basen. Pokoje to dobre ***. Dyskretna i miła obsługa.

Le lieu est parfait, une plage de sable belle avec un panorama magnifique. Un accueil et une équipe hyper agréable et aux petits soins . Une facilité pour l'organisation des extra, excursions. Des chambres confortables. Un restaurant délicieux

Je vous recommande fortement : chambres spacieuses et typiques, personnel charmant très accueillant et convivial, nourriture excellente, plage et vue superbes. Proche Club de plongée (maison d'à côté). Pas trop loin de helle-ville pour vos achats... Et facile d'accès aux îles (nosy) proches.
Si j'y retourne c'est nulle part ailleurs que j'irais 👍🏻
