Such a unique place… Driving in the road and seeing the little gorillas / monkeys…. Was able to stop easily on the shoulder of the road and get close to the monkeys. There are many locals around who will offer to take pictures and give you cherry tomatoes so you can give to the monkeys, just give them tips! The only bad thing is that people leave their garbage and empty bottles all around and I got very sad and disappointed seeing that. People should be more cautious and respect the nature!

Ce site est vraiment d’une rare beauté, la route est bordée de majestueux cèdres centenaires..
En hiver les lieux sont si exceptionnels surtout quand et la neige est abondante. Au printemps, le site devient paradisiaque !
Dans les parages, les sources d’Oum Errabia (grandioses) et le fameux lac Afenourir (Site Ramsar).
Cette route est vraiment merveilleuse !

Realment un lloc màgic, es poden veure els micos en llibertat. El punt negatiu són les escombreries.

The beauty of nature destroyed by humans trying to profit from wild animals and plants. DO NOT FEED THE MONKEYS! The plastic bags the sellers give you the end up all over the forest and I saw a monkey eating the plastic bag because it tastes of nuts. You can also give disease to the monkeys. Their population is declining ! They feed them so close to the road. All the monkeys are crossing a very fast road with no warning signs and I saw saw a mother monkey carrying it's bleeding and dead baby up a tree. Just awful destruction of nature here. Please Moroccan government do something to reduce the destruction of your once beautiful country as I don't know if I can return here as a tourist. I've never seen so much plastic waste and also animal cruelty as here. Please change this. it's in your power.

This place is a natural wonder. The forest is gorgeous and the monkeys are way too pretty. My -one star review- is due to the amount of trash present in the area. Plastic bottles and bags are taken and sometimes eaten by the monkeys. The human being is such a direspectful player. The government should get informed on this and promptly intervene in order to solve the issue ASAP.
