Wet & Salty, Surf Morocco

Loved this place and the people running it 😍 If you are in Imsouane looking for a cool spot that is super nice and clean while surfing this is the place. 5 min walk to the beach. The couple that runs it handles everything and makes really yummy meals.

We spend one week in this charming hostel and had the best time! Lilli and Ali are just lovely and the most friendly hosts I've ever met. It was such a familiar atmosphere, especially because we had breakfast and dinner together. You definetly shouldn't miss their delicious and self cooked food!! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated in a moroccan style. You can book surflessons, rent boards or just enjoy the sun on the roof terrace...sometimes you'll have company from the cutest dog Scotty;) so if you want to stay in Imsouane: 100% recommendation!!

We stayed at Lillis and Alis hostel for four days and absolutely loved it! Not only are the rooms clean and the house decorated with care and love, but Lilli and Ali both cooked for the whole bunch of us every night (delicious!) and we sat together drinking tea and chatting. The waves were great and it felt more like staying at a friends place than being in a hostel. We didn't want to leave anymore!

This fresh new B&B (opened in November 2020) is different from the other surfcamps as it offers a very cosy stay to its guests thanks to the layout of the house and its two great hosts, Lili & Ali.
The breakfasts and diners are AMAZING.
Ali is the perfect surf teacher and gave me a lot of confidence.
Wifi is provided through the whole house, from the basement to the roof terasse.
They also provide 4 longboards (cruisers & Penny) to the guests to enjoy the perfect smooth streets of Imsouane.
I spent 10 days there relaxing like never.

Ingram and I stayed with Lilly and Ali for a couple of days during our surftrip this January 2020.

The both are the lovliest and friendliest people. It felt like we were staying with friends.They made us feel utterly welcome and at home.

The house itself is beautifully furnished and decorated and everything there is placed with thought and a love for details (and waves). The place has a peacful and friendly atmosphere were you can completely relax and enjoy.

On top of that the food they prepared - breakfast and dinner - was super tasty - easily the best we had in our whole time in Morocco.
And their dog Scotty is an absolute sweety pie of a dog and source of joy and fun everyday.

Can absolutely recommend this place!
Amazing food and both hosts are really caring and super nice - if you have a question, just ask them (day trips, tips for the area, taxi to the airport, etc.).
The surf lessons are really good (only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a great spot for beginners and advanced surfers, too), the rooms are big and clean. Really chilled place and a big roof terrace where you can relax and hang out.
Stayed there for one week and had a great time!

We had an amazing time at this place! The room has a very good bed and was really clean. The hostst were also amazing, they made the best shared meals en showed us around imsouane and the surfspots. Big recommendation!

Ich hatte den Tipp bei wet&salty zu übernachten von einer Kollegin und geb ihn gerne weiter. Ohne zu übertreiben ist das eines der schönsten und liebevollsten Hostels, die ich kenne. Sehr bequeme Betten, alles sauber, neu (wurde auch erst im November 2019 eröffnet) und richtig schön eingerichtet. Ali hat so leckeres Frühstück gemacht und mir Surfen beigebracht. Abends saßen wir zu sechst zusammen und haben Tajine gegessen. Der Strand und das Wasser in Imsouane sind noch nicht so überlaufen und entsprechend sauber. Wer familiäre, entspannte Surferatmosphäre sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Ali und Lilly haben ein traumhaftes Hostel in Imsouane eröffnet. Es ist sauber und sehr neu, verfehlt den marokkanischen Charme aber nicht. Die Lage ist super, die Zimmer sind geräumig und liebevoll dekoriert. Tipp: Lilly und Ali (übrigens die tollsten Gastgeber, die ich bisher erlebt habe) bieten Frühstück und Abendessen für einen sehr fairen Preis an. Morgens bekommt ihr dafür Kaffee, Obstsalat, Omelette, Joghurt und Co. Abends kocht Ali in Tajinen marokkanisches Essen, das ihr vermissen werdet, sobald ihr zurück zuhause seid. Definitiv eine fette Empfehlung!

Bei Wet&Salty hat wirklich alles gestimmt. Die beiden haben uns ein unvergessliches Surferlebnis beschert. Wir waren eine Woche dort und haben uns super ausgehoben gefühlt. Ali und Lily waren 24/7 für uns da, haben uns verschiedene Surfspots gezeigt und uns die Marokkanische Kultur näher gebracht. Ich konnte mein Surfen verbessen und habe Freunde dazu gewonnen! Ich habe hier 3 wunderschöne Tage verbracht. In der früh ging es los mit einem leckeren und reichhaltigen Frühstück mit frischem Obstsalat, feinen Rühreieren, frischem Brot mit einheimischem Honig und Amlou (marokanische Nutella), Frischkäse und richtigem Kaffee bzw./und marokanischem Tee. Ein toller Start in den Tag.
Lilli und Ali hatten gute Tipps für Spaziergänge und besondere Plätze am Strand. Es war so entspannt. Mein Zimmer war blitzsauber, gemütlich und die Matratze gut.
Das Abendessen war spitze, ob Gemüse- oder Köfta-Tajine oder die Seezunge auf Gemüse/Kartoffelbett. Danke.
Ich komme noch im Januar wieder.

Un grand merci à lily et Ali pour leurs simplicités. Literie très confortable afin d eterniser les siestes. Petit-déjeuner tellement varié et bon que l on y reste 1 heure à échanger.
