Restaurant Les Truites

For years, this has been one of my favorite places to have lunch. It’s not fancy, but the food is amazing. They have fresh trout (whole or filet), great escargots, rabbit, wild boar, amazing potatoes, very good apple pie. In the winter there’s a fireplace, so it’s warm and cozy. It’s frequented by Moroccans from Fes and other cities...the other day there was a group of hunters, having a very good time.

To get there, take the road from Fes...it’s the first place on the left as you’re arriving in Immouzer. There’s a parking lot across the street.
