0 problems here. Make sure you do your do diligence - do your checks and make photos on damage on your car before setting off. Do your pics on retuning the car to save any inconvenience for yourself in case of any problems. Know/abide by the traffic rules in Latvia and you will have a lovely time in your hired car. As I said 0 problems with Thriffty. Will hire again definitely.

Excellent service. We reserved a car for the week of our wedding in Latvia. The desk attendant was kind enough to give us a light coloured car.
Be aware the desk is located in the European Arrival E before heading to the car park.

The Car was a Volkswagen Taigo and was better than the Golf expected.
The car was rather new (7k km) and was driving extremely smoothly and economically.
Car redelivery was excellent too, really nice service.

Picked up the car in Lithuania and dropped in Latvia. No issues at all, highly recommend. Good customer service, good value for money. Good terms and conditions

They are a short walk down the hill from the airport.

Always accommodating, polite and friendly & never try to force you to buy extra insurance like most hire companies do.

Klein aber fein! Zügige Abfertigung, inkl. Gepäckabgabe und Check in. Flott, ziemlich unkompliziert und freundlich...also russisch freundlich...bestimmt! Aber...man muss nicht jedes einzelne Wort auf die Goldwaage legen. Ein riesiger Einkaufsbereich mit unzähligen Läden und großem Sortiment. Genügend Sitzplätze in Wartebereichen. Zum Flieger geht es direkt zu Fuss über das Rollfeld.

Thrifty/Hertz Riga Airport Office. My debit/credit card was not good enough (it was 3 other times in Riga with other companies) so I had to pay extra, double the amount. The car I hired was an Toyota Auris. This car is great during daylight hours but becomes very dangerous when night comes as the headlights are set so low that high beam is really as low beam and low beam is so low that you can only see a couple of meters in front of you. I will never use Thrifty again or hire a Toyota Auris.

Horrible service. Our flight was delayed for 30min. When we arrived to get the car, they said "your car is already gone, too much demand". How can you treat customers like that? Stay away from Thrifty!

The car we got was full of scratches, and dirty inside, also some pieces of food left on the steering wheel. Very disappointed.
