Wonderful restaurant with plenty of old-style charm. Food was great and affordable. Some nice beers and cider available too. Probably the best place to go in the area. I was here in mid-July, the weather was great!!! ☀

Decent drinks and food menu, the team here is very nice and attentive. Food costs less than half of everything nearby and tastes as good if not better, highly recommended the shashlik and pancakes with ham and cheese. For desert pancakes with Jam was the best option.

We found this authentic traditional Latvian tavern during a January blizzard while walking from Majori station. We encountered a lovely warm welcome from the bartender and a roaring log fire. We enjoyed excellent local beer and food at reasonable prices. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very cosy place and a welcome escape from the cold weather! The staff are friendly and the drink selection is good. They even have a real woodfire and a resident cat called Pekainis 🐱

I had spent an amazing few hours at this place. The above restaurant is filled with attributes of Latvian history. Each visitor as if on a time machine is capable to immerse oneself in beautiful Latvian past, meanwhile enjoying beauties of various Latvian dishes.

Good cozy place, local food and beer, friendly staff, nice fireplace! Fine to visit both in summer and winter.

Simply the best place in Jurmala, there must be a reason they have been around for more than 20 years and counting. Great simple Latvian food, bar snacks, beer and hard alcohol.
Way cheaper than any other place in Jurmala. Be prepared to listen to Latvian radio.

Service as anywhere in Latvia - they wont bother you or pretend to kiss your behind, but at the sme time it's efficient.

Great beer, excellent service, beautiful reindeer burger &home made fries. The bar man was brilliant explaining about the history of the building and it's conversion into a bar, first class service I could stayed there all afternoon.

Well, it was really good. Tasty, not expensive at all. We had elk burgers, chicken shashlik and pork ribs. All of them were really nice and ribs coming off the bone. I would definitely recommend the place for a price friendly options and chilled atmosphere.
