Camping Auf Kengert

Very nice camping. Staff is polite and helpful. Enough to do for young kids. The camp is calm and in nature, there's birds etc. and no traffic. The route "M4" leads to Larochette, 1 hour walk through a nice path in the woods.
The rest rooms are well maintained. I liked the special baths/showers for the children.
The restaurant is good for being a camping restaurant, I think the other posts don't put this into perspective.

An outstanding camping site. Beautiful surrounding of ancient woodland. The trees here are a delight. So peaceful and relaxing. Camping pitch was spacious. Showers and toilets clean and hot water.
Clean and well cared for swimming pool. Well done Alicia. ☺ Will definetely back again.

Lovely site at the side of a beautiful woodland. Clean facilities and great family rooms in the showers. Bar and restaurant and shop with daily fresh bread. Very family and outgoing child friendly. Lots of local walks.

Spent a few nights here with my young family. Very quiet and peaceful location, so the parents could relax. The kids could relax, too, or go mad in the super outdoor and indoor play areas. Friendly staff made us feel welcome and we enjoyed our stay :-) Nice food in the restaurant as well.

Lovely campsite in nice, remote location. Kids loved the barefoot trail, the many play parks, the pool and the soft play. Easy to visit the main attractions in Luxembourg. Ok facilities, they provided ice packs for a small deposit and had charging cupboards again for a deposit. Shop onsite with limited but sufficient stock, provided bread / croissants each morning although perhaps not as nice as the baguettes you get in France (in our view). Friendly staff and overall just had a nice atmosphere.

The camping:
Staff is friendly. The toilet and shower buildings are very clean. During low season the camping field is very pleasant.

The restaurant:
Nothing special, camping quality.

The shop:
We didn't use it and did our shopping in the Delhaize of Larochette. This seemed much cheaper.

The swimming pool:
During low season and good weather you pretty much have it to yourself. Nice size. Watter is clean, but quite some sand on the bottom.

The playground:
Old and some of the stuff is really worn down. Rather to be used as a big sand pit for playing.

Small camping, swimming pool, restaurant is nice, clean sanitary with even bath tubs for babies/small childs plus small toiletts & sinks, ... NICE!

Great if you have kids, no entertainment but plenty to do. There are baby and kids showers, various playgrounds, pool, trails, sport fields, ...

Also they serve dinner; tasty, good portions and quite cheap. Sanitary is clean. Mullerthal trail runs next to the campsite. This camping keeps surprising me.

3rd time on this camping with my family + children. Great and quiet location. Thankfully no summer recreational program for kids so no speakers and music. More than enough to do for kids. Clean sanitary. Great walks right of the camping. Very kind personel. I can recommend this to everyone.

If coming by foot, it's on top of a hill so be prepared 😅 other than that, it's a great spot for family as it has a huge playground and a pool!

Friendly staff, possible to order breakfast pastries and great spacious facilities!

Excellent well run site with the best toilet block we have seen. Very good resturant too. Not forgetting the swimming pool and great forest area.

A surprisingly charming site. Loved this place. Its slightly different from other sites we have visited in that is has a very nature orientated feel about the place. There is a nature walk which you can do bare footed. Fruit trees everywhere. There is a small maze which I thought to myself would be easy peasy....15 minutes later I am still trying to find the way out. Definitely a site for outdoorsy families...lots of space for kids to just run around if thats what they want to do.

The food is ok, promptely served, and the icecream and the apple pie absolutely delicious. Good experience for a camping restaurant.

We arrived quite late in the night. And they had left the key out for us. The amenities are great and it's very quiet..... Great place.
