I totally agree with Nisansala Grocery overcharging the maximum retail price, even for a bottle of Soda (300 ml elephant house glass bottles) and other items I bought from them.

Shop owner, an almost bold headed guy explained that he charges more because transport cost etc...yet I told him no body can exceed the maximum retail price...

I complained to the company regarding a purchase, a company customer relations contacted me and said they would warn the shop owner...

However, I pass Nisansala Grocery almost every day, I don’t stop at it or buy a thing from them since the overcharge incident, may be couple of years back...

I totally agree with other reviwers. Very unethical business methods. Glum looking salespeople.
It is called wale kade before naming as the new name. They have not improved in their ways over the past 40 yrs!!

Avoid going in to this store at all costs. Some products are sold for more than the MRP mentioned in the label. Rude shop owner and a dirty shop
