Best place to buy spices as a souvenir and even cheaper than at some markets and trader outside the airport. A good chance to spend your last Rupees.

This is one of the most usefull things in BIA departure area. It's open in 24/7 and ideal for last minute shopping just before goes to check-in counters. Eventhogh the space is limited hence limited stock, still has good collection of items good for last minute purchases including biscuits, sweets like thalaguli, masrshmelows, home medicine like paapanguwa, etc. Collection of tea also not bad. All are normal prices same as any other Cargill's outlet and you can pay by Sri Lankans rupees as well. Plus staff is friendly. May be they can utilize the space more and add more items.

Really nice to have the convenient store right at airport so if you miss buying some snacks you can buy right here at same price as city

Good place to shop and use your leftover Sri Lankan Rupees before you leave the country. An unexpected surprise that they have a supermarket here. Appears to be the same price as the goods in a Cargills in the city.

It is on the left side before you go to the check in Counters. ‚Last chance’ to buy every day products and presents for ‚downtown’ prices. Good selection of tea, spices and snacks. We spent our last rupees there and did not regret it - most shops inside the airport are very expensive (expect to pay USD 2 for a tea an USD 10 or more for a meal)

You can get more varieties of Ceylon Tea selection, cold drinks and some groceries, price is ideal with friendly staffs.

Technically, this would be the only Cargills Food City that operates 24/7, 365, since it's located inside the Bandaranayake International Airport. You'll find most of the regular items that you would find in any other Food City, and the staff is quite friendly and helpful. If it's a busy day at the airport in general, expect this place to be a bit crowded as well.
