Local liquor store in Mirissa, better to buy a bottle here before going to a party instead of going to the beach and ordering cocktails the whole time. The guy from the food stand in front of the liquor store also helps them, who is a trustworthy guy! Owner even gave me discount because I came there often. 4200 rupees for raspberry or apple vodka (0,7L)

Standard off license in Sri Lanka. At time of writing cans of beer are about 550 and stronger spirits vary. Half a bottle of red label arack was 1600.

They overcharge. More than triple the usual price. The bottle of vodka that I usually get for around $15 usd costs $48 usd. They also have a different counter for “foreigners” which means they clearly have a different price for locals. Stay away
