Yesterday, I had a terrible toothache that started the previous night. Desperate for relief, I decided to call a dental clinic and managed to secure an appointment. Little did I know that my experience would leave me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.

Upon arrival at the clinic, I was informed that I had to pay a consultation fee of LKR 500 upfront. While I understand the need for such fees, I found it quite inconvenient to be asked for payment before receiving any treatment or advice. Reluctantly, I paid the fee, hoping that it would be worth it.

After settling the payment, I was taken to see the dentist. I explained my situation, expressing my desire to find a solution for my toothache. The dentist proceeded to examine my tooth, only to deliver disappointing news. According to him, my tooth couldn't be fixed, and the only option was to have it removed. This response left me feeling unsatisfied and disheartened.

Refusing to accept such a drastic measure as the only solution, I asked if there were any other alternatives. Regrettably, the dentist replied with a firm "No." He insisted that removal was the only course of action available. Feeling defeated, I requested some time to think and stepped outside.

Driven by my dissatisfaction and a lingering hope for a better solution, I decided to visit another dental clinic at Hemas Hospital in Wattala. There, I met Dr. Rajudeen, who offered a completely different perspective. She carefully examined my tooth and informed me that she could fix it without the need for extraction.

Needless to say, I was incredibly relieved and grateful to have found an alternative solution. Dr. Rajudeen's expertise and willingness to explore other options were a breath of fresh air after my disappointing experience at the previous dental clinic.

Based on my encounter, I strongly advise against visiting a dental clinic that operates in a similar manner. The insistence on immediate payment, coupled with a limited mindset regarding treatment options, left me feeling undervalued and disrespected as a patient. Instead, I recommend seeking out professionals like Dr. Rajudeen at Hemas Hospital, who prioritize their patients' well-being and explore all available options before resorting to extreme measures.

Not happy to even give one star for the service.
My wife (5 months pregnant) and I went to this place yesterday as my wife got a toothache the previous night. We phone and got an appointment at 1pm and we were there about 10 mins early. We waited nearly an hour as the dentist was engage with is pervious patient. Then they want me to pay LKR 500 as consultant fee before hand and rest can be based on dentist's prescription. I was asked to stay out and my wife was taken to for consultation. After taking to my wife Dentist approached for the inspection
This guy refused to change at that time and said that is was changed already. He was not happy from that time and showed his anger on dental equipment by handling it hard and noisy. Then he inspected my wife and failed to handle her gently. He told my wife, there are teeth need to be removed including canine tooth. My wife was not happy and she wanted talk to me. He has asked my wife to go out and speak and my wife has requested to change his gloves as a precaution as she was very concern as she is pregnant.
to me and he wanted to take the next person in as she was on a regular clinic. My wife told him that she can’t sit and wait for another hour as she was pregnant. Unfortunately he has said that he can’t help and started moaning pointing about the request made by wife to change his gloves.

She came out and told me what happen inside and by that time one f his assistant came and gave LKR 500 back told that dentist is not attending my wife.

I tried to speak to his assistant, she simply said Sir said to return the money and that’s all she knows.
