It has a good study area; once it gets the membership, people can use it from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., Sunday is their holiday. Many students come there. Washrooms are not clean, anyway; it is a government standard 😉. This is a good resource for students.

Situated in the municipal council premises. There are many books here. There's a studying area too. You have to get the annual membership to borrow books and to use the studying area. You can refer the newspapers without the membership.

As I know Gampaha Public Library is the largest library in the Gampaha district. There is no book that cannot find here and you have to get the membership of the library even to read the books but after obtaining the membership you can borrow the books and use the studying area of the library too.
Believe me, the amount of books the library posses is uncountable. Many books in many languages including magazines and news papers can be found in this library with ease.

You have to be a citizen of gampaha municipal council area to register or you should have some friend or relative to get register but their is a good collection of books in this place...

Public library of gampaha town. Located next to gampaha municipal council.

News paper reading section is at outside of the library and anyone can easyly reach it and read. Magazine section is at entrance. And other section need membership.
