We were travelling with family, quite small kids and grandma and we all loved everything About trips prepared by Kasun. He really took all our wishes in the plan and added some more we definitely loved ! Kasun is well organized, knows a Lot About all the places and His attitude and personallity is so nice that in case he is a sample of sri Lanka ´s people, sri Lanka can be proud of. In case we knew how Perfect all will be organized, we would prefer to stay with him on the trips much longer days. Unfortunately, we needed to leave. My husband and I received several tour quotes, but Kasun’s one - besides being very fair priced - outshined them all for professionalism and attention to details. Our itinerary has been the perfect mix of nature, safaris and cultural tours.
We started with a tour of 5 days and, by the 3rd day, we were so satisfied with his service that asked for another 5 days!

Kasun and his cousin Kaveen have been extremely punctual, flexible to accommodate all of our requests (like that time my phone broke down and they drove to the nearest city at 9pm, while my husband and I had dinner, to find a place which could fix it) and always in a good mood. They have the most contagious sense of humour and we immediately hit it off! Do not be misled by Kasun’s young age: He is truly knowledgeable about his own country’s history, costumes, politics and geography and he is always willing to explain it all to you with passion.

His organisational skills are so on point we were passing fluently from one activity to the other without even realising it, you totally do not have the feeling of “being in a rush”. Additionally, his choices of hotels were always perfect and both Kasun and Kaveen are skilled photographers who took hundreds of photos of us! The last 5 days Kasun was already booked for a tour so we proceeded with his father Mahinda, who taught the job to Kasun and was therefore equally friendly and prepared as he is! We finished our holiday in the best possible way, invited at dinner to Kasun’s home where we ate delicious food with his sweet family and even received a beautiful gift which now hangs on our Brussels’ apartment:)

We had a lot of hesitations to visit Sri Lanka after its economic collapse, but we are SO GLAD we finally did: For its breath-taking nature, the history, the food… and for the amazing new friends we found in them!
 We highly recommend Darshana Lanka to anyone wishing to make their staying in Sri Lanka even more unforgettable.

The guys welcomed us at the airport after a long journey and took us to the hotel efficiently.
We spent 9 intense days together. We visited probably all the most important attractions in Sri Lanka: mountains, waterfalls, temples, parks. We stayed in great hotels and had time to relax by the pool. Even though the sightseeing plan was agreed much in advance, the guys constantly provided additional attractions and surprises. Many times during our trip we stopped in interesting places.
We could always count on fresh coconuts, fruit and even ice cream. Kasun is a master of surprises, he even organized a birthday party for us at a theater in Kandy in the presence of several hundred spectators.
If we come back to Sri Lanka, we will definitely spend time with our Sri Lankan friends, because that's how we can talk about them ❤

Recommend trip planned by Kasun! 3day trip for 4 people was amazing. Kasun planned everything based on our expectations, including accommodation, transport etc. We had a small van with excellent guide (Navodya- great guy making super atmosphere) and driver. We saw and tried many things that would be difficult to find and try by ourselfes.

We did a five day tour. Kasun planned everything together with us and really took our preferences into account. We had a lovely time and would recommend Darshana Lanka Tours to everybody. We made memories we will never forget. Thank you Kasun and Darshana Lanka tours!

We spent 2 fantastic days with Kasun and his brother exploring the southern sights of Sri Lanka. Kasun was very passionate about his country and we came away feeling so much more knowledgeable. We learnt more about Sri Lanka in those 2 days than the whole remaining week. Kasun was also very kind stopping at additional sights that he thought we should experience along with buying traditional food for us to try. Your passion for your beautiful country and the knowledge you shared made our journey truly unforgettable. From the ancient wonders of Sigiriya to the serene tea plantations in Nuwara Eliya, to Yala's wildlife and the tranquil beaches of Mirissa.
Your warm hospitality and genuine kindness created a bond that goes beyond a typical guide-client relationship. Their business is a family business and they always went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We had prepared our own itinerary that we adapted along the way with their feedback and ideas.

Our itinerary was:
- Day 1: Sigiriya with a stop in Dambulla and Pinnawala,
- Day 2: Polonnaruwa and Lion’s rock, plus visit to a Sri Lankan traditional village,
- Day 3: Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy and Tooth’s Temple, visit tea factory,
- Day 4: traveled from Kandy to Ella via car and train. Stopped at Ambuluwawa tower and took in the amazing scenery;
- Day 5 & 6 : lots of fun Flying Ravana Zipline in Ella, fooled around with the giant swing and princess dresses )), hiked to Little’s Adam Peak – very easy, train ride over Nine Arch Bridge – again here Kasun’s photographer skills were great as he knew all the tips and tricks to get great memories in the form of pictures. Enjoyed Ella, Hashan recommended us UFO bar for interesting drinks and we discovered also delicious food and experiences by chance traditional dances;
- Day 7: Jeep Safari at Yala National Park.
- Day 8 & 9 & 10: Ocean relaxation in Mirissa, chasing whales and catching spinner dolphins.

Thank you for not just showing us the sights but for immersing us in the heart and soul of this enchanting island. Your dedication to ensuring our comfort and enjoyment did not go unnoticed, and we are truly grateful for the memories you helped create and hope we will be back soon!

My husband and I used Darshana Lanka tours during our recent holiday to Sri Lanka and were highly impressed. Kasun was professional, knowledgeable and also a lovely person. The excursions were good value for money and Kasun went out of his way to show us hidden gems and share his knowledge of his beautiful country.

We done a 10 day tour with Darshana Lanka Tours. Good communications from the start with Kasun who helped plan our tour with good suggestions. Mahinda ( kasun's father ) was a very nice man very patient and happy to take you where ever you want. Good ideas and a very good driver. No problems what so ever. They do take us good restaurants where food is a very tasty and the accommodation also very good and clean. Just I would like highly recommended them.

Totally recommended! My biggest thanks to Kasun Darshana for our sightseeing trip at Sri lanka. We were travelling with two kids so it was not always easy on him, but he managed everything with ever present smile, politness and calmness. Kasun is an excellent and safe driver and very knowledgable guide. He is keen to show you every interisting thing along the route. We are just back from an 8 day tour with Darshana Lanka Tours. Excellent service from the prompt email communication beforehand, airport pick up and drop off, to the actual tour. Kasun was our driver/guide. A very careful driver (you will understand how important this is once you are there) with excellent English who is very helpful. We (couple) took 3 tours with Kasun (Darshana Lanka tours). One to Colombo, Marissa (Whale watching) and Sinaharaja Rainforest.

During all 3 tours Kasun has gone above and beyond to make sure our trip was incredible.

The van is comfortable with AC and reclining seats, he arrived on time at the hotel and guided us through each tour superbly before bringing us back to the hotel with time to enjoy an afternoon at the pool.

He makes sure to fill out your time on tour completely, for example, during the whale watching trip he also took us to Marissa beach for some good photo shots and swimming at the beach. Then to the turtle sanctuary (which is a must on its own) and then to Galle (an historic port/ Fort town).

His charges are reasonable and cover the entry fees (no surprise charges), he even supplied snack, drinks and water.

I'd be happy to recommend Kasun as one of the best tour guides/operators I have ever met.

Our friends who we vacationed with had sorted out an airport transfer from Colombo to down near Galle with Darshana Lanka Tours. The minibus that ferried us down was fantastic and modern. Our guide Kasun, was very accommodating in allowing us to stop and grab some lunch and give us a quick history of Sri Lanka as we worked our way down the country.

Happy with his services, we arranged our return journey to the airport and in the week arranged a day trip to one of the national parks. He arrived more than promptly about 15 minutes before the 6am time he suggested. The whole day was very well organized with a great team of people to do the safari itself.

Just like every other trip, the return leg was just as professional. Arrived well before the requested time for pickup with the same high quality minibus

We decided to come despite the turmoil that's happening in the country and no regrets at all! Kasun made sure everything is taken care of and we have nothing to worry about. He and his cousin, Chami took care of us for 7 days. Being 2 ladies travelling, safety is our utmost concern and that's what they gave to us. The safe feeling. Very trustworthy and reliable guide. And to add value to his service.. He can take very good pictures as well. We brought our camera stand with us and not once we took it out! Lol! They are a very good company as well.. Our journey was filled with lots of laughter. Totally recommended them to everyone! To those that still thinking whether to come or not.. Just go and rest assured that they will take a good care of you!
