Wadduwa Central College is a reputed central college which has a proud history of 68 years in Wadduwa area. This is a mix school. Primary section located as a separate unit. There is a huge playground. Students perform well in both studies, sports and extra curricular activities.

It is situated in the Panadura Zone and was initiated as a Central College under the backing of then Education Minister C.W.W.Kannangara. Combining three schools which were functioning under three different administration namely – Government English School, Government Boys’ School and Government Girls’ school, Wadduwa Central College was formed.

Wadduwa is a town in the Western Province of Sri Lanka. It is situated on the western coast of Sri Lanka, about 33 km south of Colombo. It spans from 30.5 to 36.5 km area along the Galle Road, 4.5 km to the land side and 1 km to the seaside. It is also famous for its rich cultivation of coconut palms and as a major producer of toddy and vinegar. There are few historical places in the area such as ancient Catholic church and Dhaaldawatta Purana Maha Viharaya.
